Alright! We’re not in a meeting right now, but what you guys essentially missed is be saying that every once in a while, when I’m not busy and bored, I’d make a Zoom where I precedent it saying what I’m gonna be reading. For example, “The Raven” by Poe and “The Silver Key” by Lovecraft. I really love H.P. Lovecraft, so his stories will definitely pop up a lot. I will do suggestions if I can find free copies on the internet or something. And I implore you guys to read along with me!!

However, school is just about to end for me (two weeks), and I have a massive audition that I need to practice for (though this will only take up five-six days tops), so it will take up most of my time. When summer hits, I’ll be back in business.

Hey gang!! So I got finished with school work and most of my daily things (still need to practice conducting), so I decided to make our first little thing of me reading to you.

I just wanted to set down some ground rules before we start, though.

• If there is loud noise or lag on your end, to the point where I’d be able to hear my own voice, please mute yourself, or else I’ll have to interrupt my flow of thought to mute you myself. Overall, it’d be smartest to mute yourself nevertheless of the noise level.
• If there is something wrong with my audio, do not hesitate to tell me.
• If you have something to say about the piece, please do share! Just afterwards, or during a break (if it’s a longer piece).
• If you want to do a character/voice in a piece, do tell me. I’d be more than happy to hash it out.
• Turning on your camera is not an expectation.
• Everyone is welcome! And you are also welcome to record me reading if you so wish.

Today I will be reading “The Raven” by Edgar Allen Poe as a vocal warm up, then I will be moving on to read the first chapter of Lord of the Flies. Possibly, if I feel up to it, I will read “The Colour Out of Space” by H.P. Lovecraft. I implore you that you read along with me, or simply do your own thing as you listen. There will be no visual components.
