(yeah sure)

Dmitri knocked on the door to her cell, a few hours later. He wanted to speak with her. Though of course, if she was sleeping, he would have to come back later. He would let her sleep if they already were.

Elissa started at the knock, having been daydreaming. She had dozed off in the time between the twenty questions games and now, but she was completely awake the moment the knock sounded…well, mostly. She crossed her arms, trying to look annoyed, but she was both nervous and angry. "What?" she asked, in an irritable tone, though she quickly realized that pissing off her captor might not be the smartest move.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Dmitri blinked. "I would like to speak with you." He said simply, waiting. He did not want to just burst in there, because he didn't want her to hate him too much.

"Come in then," Elissa sighed, trying to be a bit more cordial in case he got any ideas of killing her. Okay, maybe that wasn't super likely right now, but the man killed her grandmother, so who knew what he was capable of? It wasn't like she was doing anything anyway.

Dmitri opened the door, coming into the cell. "How are you?" he finally started, looking at her carefully. He had no idea how to do this.

Elissa raised an eyebrow. “Are you seriously asking me that?” she inquired, looking annoyed. “After you murdered my grandmother and then kidnapped me? I’m doing just fine.” Why couldn’t she shut her mouth? Her father always said it was going to get her into trouble, and Elissa was certain he was right.

Dmitri nodded a little bit. "Right. I…am sorry that you had to see that, though had you not followed us, you would not have seen."

“And just let you kill her?” Elissa asked, before taking a deep breath and calming down a little. She tried not to go crazy on this guy. “What is it you want anyway?”

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa rolled her eyes. “I meant, why are you in my cell right now? I find it a bit hard to believe that you just want a friendly conversation.”

@MusicElle-is-here

“Is there an answer?” Elissa asked, though this time her question was less accusatory and more genuinely curious. She rested her cheek in her palm.

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa had to press her lips together to keep from laughing at that. "In case you haven't noticed, this is a cell, not a hotel room," she responded. "I wouldn't exactly call it comfortable."

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa just looked at him. "Why are you being so nice to me? Is it possible that you grew a conscience since you killed my grandmother?"

@MusicElle-is-here

Elissa wrinkled her nose. "I wouldn't prefer you be an asshole, I suppose I just expected you to be one," she replied, studying him with newfound curiosity. "You were an asshole earlier."

@MusicElle-is-here

“I guess you have a point,” she conceded. “Still, and I do appreciate your sudden change of attitude, why aren’t you being an asshole now? The lack of audience, I suppose?”

@MusicElle-is-here

“Fair enough,” Elissa replied, not able to argue the point further. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear. “I’m glad you’re not being an asshole.”

@MusicElle-is-here

"Oh, well, I don't know," Elissa responded, thinking. "A glass of water would be nice. I've barely had any while I've been in here and I'm parched." She shrugged.
