"Mm… am not…" She mumbled, resting her chin on his shoulder. "You must be delusional."
"Mm… am not…" She mumbled, resting her chin on his shoulder. "You must be delusional."
"That I am, but not about this." Lucas rested his head against Melissa's. "Like it or not, I find you very attractive."
Pouting a bit, she huffed. "Fine… but I disagree with you. I don't see what you do." Melissa mumbled.
"You'd better look a little closer in the mirror then, Mel." Lucas smiled softly and continued drawing.
"I'd rather not, actually…" Melissa mumbled once more, leaning into him. "We're just going to have to agree to disagree."
"Awww, but I want you to agree with me! You know I'm not gonna budge." Lucas grinned and moved on to detailing Melissa's eyes.
"But you know I won't eitherrr~" Melissa trilled, lifting her head up off his shoulder. "That's why I'm saying we agree to disagree."
"But you gotta~" Lucas whined. "You're too pretty to disagree with me, Mel."
Melissa sighed weakly, giving him a gentle smile. "I just… how about half agreeing?"
"Mm. How do you mean?" Lucas asked, returning the soft smile.
"I half agree with you, and I don't protest when you say I'm fairly attractive?" She offered, trying to sound reasonable.
"But you're not just fairly attractive, Mel." Lucas huffed indignantly and crossed his arms. "Gorgeous."
“Fine, I won’t argue when you say I’m attractive in any sense. Is that better?” Melissa asked him softly, resting a hand on his arm.
Lucas nodded and smiled again. "Sounds good to me, love." He leaned into her and returned to his drawing.
"Mmm, good, because that was my final offer." Melissa mumbled, kissing his cheek before scooting back on the bed.
"Mm…" Lucas returned his focus to the drawing. "Do you think this looks like you?" He asked.
Glancing over his shoulder, Melissa scanned over the details and nodded. "Yeah, I think so." She said softly, resting her hands on his shoulders.
"Cool…" Lucas continued drawing, still humming softly to himself while he did so.
Melissa smiled gently as he started to focus once again. She gently started to rub his shoulders, watching him draw in silence.
Lucas paused at first, not quite used to the feeling, but he soon returned to drawing and relaxed.
Noting that he had paused, Melissa continued with a hesitancy. "If this is bugging you, I can stop."
"No, it's okay… I just wasn't expecting it." Lucas drew a couple more stands of hair.
"If you're sure." She hummed, kissing him on the cheek softly. "Love you."
"Love you too." Lucas returned the kiss and continued drawing. "I think I'm almost done…"
Studying the drawing, she nodded a little bit. "You don't sound too sure." Melissa hummed softly.
"Well, I could always add more to anything… it's hard to decide when to be done, you know?"
"Mmm, I totally understand that. Sometimes you have to quit while you're ahead, though." She pointed out.
Lucas nodded. "Yeah… gotta do a few more details, though." He kept going with a soft sigh.
Nodding, she fell quiet and continued to rub his shoulders tenderly. Melissa didn't want to bug him too bad. Not while he was drawing, at least.
After a few more minutes, Lucas finally closed his sketchbook and set it down. "I'm gonna be done…"
