(This feels like a good day!)
(Good morning!)
(I say this as I’m going back to sleep once again lmao)
(I feel you)
(Y'all wanna continue?)
(yes)
he twitched slightly, they can talk..? "who are you beast?" he shouted up at the dragon.
The dragon yelped, staring at the creature a few feet away. "Did….did that scavenger just….. talk??" It paused for a moment. "……I'm Loch." She replied hesitantly.
She inched closer, trying to study whatever this thing was.
"Scavenger? excuse you, i dont know what you think i am but im not that." he huffed, "Loch? well then Loch, what are you doing here?"
Steven tilted his head. “Two dragons? How’d you get here?” he asked, still holding onto Spinel’s gem. Charlie nodded, crossing her arms. “I didn’t see you earlier,” she said as Ink agreed.
"It talks!" Cordelia exclaimed. "That's….a bit concerning, actually. I don't think dragons naturally talk…" She paused, as the dragon introduced itself as Loch. "Loch. That's a nice name. It reminds me of the Kelpie that the muggles named Loch Ness Monster. Not exactly sure, why though." She shook her head. She was getting off-topic. She should be on the guard. For all, she knew Loch could be here to attack them all.
The dragon pointed a blue claw at the giant machine. "Trying to figure out what the hell that is." She said blandly as if it was obvious that that was her goal. "And you're not gonna tell me your name? How do I know if you're trustworthy if you don't even give a name to work with, huh?" She looked to Steven with an RBF and showed him her wings. "I flew here, squid-brain."
"Most people cant say my name correctly, im not exactly fond of seeing if a dragon can." he huffed at loch.
“I’m Steven Universe,” Steven told her, trying to be polite. “And we don’t know what that is either,” he sighed.
“Charlotte Magne, but my friends call me Charlie,” the princess from Hell bowed.
“You can call me Ink,” Ink added, twirling his paintbrush behind him.
"Just tell me or else your new name will be 'Weird Scavenger.' "
"Hm?" Cordelia said as she looked at the pink machine. "Oh, that spidery machine? Yeah, that's been here for at least an hour. Pinky brought it with her when she arrived." She paused. "I'm Cordelia. Cordelia Usoro."
She looked at the unnamed stranger, who apparently didn't like dragons, and snorted. "Just tell them your name, and get this over with. Honestly, if we can't pronounce it, we'll just give you a nickname. It's no big deal."
"what the heck is a scavanger anyway?" he grumbled, "Its Kiriysin," he muttered.
"Yeah, er….do you mind if i call you Kiri?" Cordelia asked him. "As for your question, aren't scavengers just people who collect things that are thrown away by others? I could be completely wrong though."
"sure whatever." he shrugged,"could be different it is a dragon."
"I can see Universe as a name, but Steven? What is that, some sort of bird?" The turquoise dragon asked with a slight chuckle. "Charlie? Hm…yeah, I can see that. And Ink? As in squid ink?"
She pointed a talon to Steven "Scavengers are like him, but not as squishy, and don't wear-" She cut herself off as Cordelia spoke, who she only noticed right then. "Now that's a scavenger, down to the cloth, very cute."
he rolled his eyes slightly, "Alright then."
The second dragon revealed itself to be a smaller, dark purple dragon with white curly horns, a curly tail and frills. The membrane of its wings and frills were sunset colours with black star-like scales. It appeared to have bright emerald green eyes.
She let the strange scavenger-like beings have a second to settle and possibly theorize about her as well.
Loch looked at her for a long moment, quite surprised, but quickly looked away after she realized she’d been staring for too long, clearing her throat awkwardly.
"I didn't expect to see a Seawing here," the dragon said with a solemn tone, "If we're sharing names then I'm Nightshade."
"You alright? You look a little….gloomy." She pointed out, showing the only emotion aside from annoyance since she touched down.
"I'm fine," she said straight-forwardly, "I'm just not as playful as other Rainwings you may have met."
"I live in the Rain Kingdom, I've met Bromeliad. Grade-A lobster if you ask me…" She chuckled. "But if you say so, I won't ask." She shrugged with a slight sneer. Three moons, she's sassy.
(I see you, lurkers)
"You. Kiriysin. Where are we?" She didn't know…? She said she'd flew here…
"and how do you not know where we are? didnt you come here on purpose?"
"Kiri! Don't be rude!" Cordelia hissed at him. "For all we know, she could have short-term memory loss. Actually, I'm not sure that's a thing for Dragons, but it's still a possibility." She huffed and took out her wand. She put it up in the air and said, "Tempus."
A small blue box appeared in the air, with the current British time and day. "Huh," Cordelia said after a while. It seemed like the time hadn't changed since she left her Common Room. It, according to the time, was still 5 in the afternoon. The blue box disappeared after a couple of seconds, and she put her wand away, muttering the word weird under her breath.
