“Nah, I’m good but thanks for the offer,” Tanrial shook Bernon’s hand, her blue black hair waving in the slight breeze that had arrived, “I’m Tanrial.”

"Tanrial, eh? That's a nice name." Bernon sat back down, finishing off the last of the soup himself. "You're the first person I've seen in five….no, six days. Nice to hear a human voice again."
(Well, I gotta go to bed now sadly. See you and Amber tomorrow hopefully!)

@ElderGod-Carrots

“Not just human,” Tanrial mumbled under her breath, “Six days, why’ve you been out here so long with no contact?”
(Okie, See ya tomorrow!)

He smiled ruefully. "Well, I didn't mean to. I heard from some homesteaders that there was a settlement in this area, but their info must have been outdated. It's not a big deal though. I'm a wanderer by profession, so being alone is part of my lifestyle." He started to pack up his things, folding the cooking stand into an impossibly small and compact shape. "What about you? Are you a wanderer too?"

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial shrugged, “Kinda. That settlement might be my village. It’s just on the other side of the woods back there, I’ve always enjoyed solitude so I have my own place at the base of the mountain,” She turned slightly and pointed towards the biggest, “About 5 miles that way.”

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial turned back, “Yeah, you have to travel quite away if you want any decent trade but the village is alright with it, but some folks in the markets sell some… weird things.”

Wendla's eyes fluttered open. She was tied to a thick oak branch, backpack held tightly between her legs. With nimble fingers she undid tne rope and dropped from the tree. She hit the ground with a quiet crackle of the leaves and tightened the wool jacket around her.

(Hi Amber! ^^) "Weird things? Sounds like a place I'd like to check out," Bernon said, hoisting his large backpack onto his shoulders. "I hope they take jobs and favors as well as cash, because I've been flat broke for a while now."

@ElderGod-Carrots

As Tanrial was about to answer her ears picked up what sounded like someone dropping from a tree and had an arrow knocked in her bow in an instant, “Did you hear that?” She asked, forgetting that he might not have since he was human.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial said nothing, her blue-gold eyes beginning to gleam with the hidden power underneath. She willed it to stop and focused on the emerging figure. She shot and it landed a foot in front of her target, “That.” She said.

Wendla didn't flinch at the arrow. In response, she flicked her knife towards the shooter; it skimmed the person's ear and dug into a tree. "Careful with those arrows."

(i changed a little thing bout her looks)
She shrugged a shoulder. "My town was one of the last ones standing. It's gone now, so the lot of us scattered."

@ElderGod-Carrots

(It says there’s an error and can’t view it)
“Sorry to here that, you’re human I take it?” Tanrial slung her bow across her back and crossed her arms.

(Kay)
“A small village on the other side of the forest but I live about 5 miles that way, at the bottom of the mountain.” She pointed to the spot she showed Bernon earlier.

@amber_is_in_a_loop

Wendla nodded to him. She went over to the tree and yanked out her knife. "Sorry 'bout the aggressive start." She pulled her hood down in the heat.

@ElderGod-Carrots

Tanrial didn’t say anything but turned back to the forest again, swearing she heard something but bigger and headed in this direction. She went still only her eyes moving when they needed to.
