"Do you speak English?" She asked, rolling her eyes again. Seriously, just being around this guy might make her eyeballs fall out. "Because I spoke it pretty clearly."

"I got what you said, I just don't get why you said it. There were a million other ways to burn me, and yet you go with that. It wasn't even good."

"I wasn't trying to burn you, nor was I trying to sound smart. Not everyone tries to prove their worth to everyone else, like a desperate little child."

"Then why did it sound like one?" Ember continued down.

"Yeah, I'm coming; are you good?" Manan called out, going down with more ease than he expected. "Oh, this isn't too bad, actually." He kept a steady pace down, sighing as Adrielle and the loner argued.

"Can you two fuckin' chill out, like? C'mon, boy, we're stuck together and nobody wants to hear your whinin'." Sid rolled his eyes, trying to steady his pace and avoid falling or tripping. "Quit the insults, like, it's just annoyin'."
