He started to eat.

She groaned softly as she had to stand up to get her coffee, since she left it on the counter.

He looked at her, then reached out a hand, using a spell to bring her coffee over. "There."

”Thank you.” she smiled, sitting back down and taking a sip.

He smiled back, and took a sip of his own.

She let out a sigh of contentment.

He glanced over at her with a soft smile.

She smiled back at him.

He kissed her cheek.

Her brows went up in surprise at the kiss but she smiled at him and kissed him in return.

He smiled at her, and then returned to his food.

She felt her face warm slightly as she went back to eating.

He kept eating quietly.

She took another bite of her breakfast.

She glanced back at him briefly, still eating but wondering why he had tensed up so much when she had touched his neck. So far, she was only coming up with one explanation… and it involved his father.

Killian kept eating.

Jade decided not to ask since it would just upset him, and continued to eat.

He was quiet, sipping at his coffee.

She took a quiet sip of her coffee.

He glanced over at her for a moment.

She looked back at him and smiled softly.

He smiled back at her.

”How did you sleep last night?” she asked, glad to see he was doing better. He probably just had a 24-hour bug.

"Fine. Better, anyways."

”That’s good to hear.” she smiled with a small nod, taking another sip of coffee.

He smiled back.

When she felt her face warm again, this time she blamed the hot beverage.

He took a sip of coffee.

She continued to eat her breakfast.
