Daisy rolled her eyes. She’d have to start a fight later. She turned to Lewis and shrugged. “Guess we should probably go see what this is about,” she remarked, looking far too calm for the situation.

Once arriving, Angel sat in the back corner of the room humming quietly to herself. She tends to do that when she's anxious.

@German_Boats

Addy walked up to Zyra and crossed her arms. "What is this?" she wondered, but before her friend could answer, Chiron clapped his hands to signal for attention.
"Good afternoon campers," he began in a loud tone. "I'm sure you're all wondering why I called you here, and the reason being is that there is trouble brewing." campers all around began to murmur, and Addy looked at Zyra worriedly.
"Now now, quiet please." the centaur continued. "Our friends at Camp Jupiter are being faced with a dangerous threat. Erebus, the old primordial deity of deep darkness himself, is rising. Brother to Gaea, he seeks to finish what his sister started."
Angry roars began to rise from the teens and children, and a few of the younger ones started crying. The Ares kids looked like they were about to blow the stew out of someone.
"There is no immediate threat as of now," said Chiron. "But we will be sending a team of out demigods to aid our friends as these attacks begin. Erebus, though he does not have much power himself yet, has enough to send plenty of monsters their way."

(just so you know, we're the team. A couple of random characters will come too, but thats just for extra numbers. They won't have voices.)

@Toaster group

Oh no. I hope they'll be ok. Angel thought.

Don't worry, they'll be fine. Besides, the odds that you get sent are one in a thousand. her cat tries to reassure her.

Yeah. I'll be safe in camp…but if someone I know goes and they don't make it, I could never forgive myself for not being there!

And there you go second guessing everything. Anna seemingly rolls her eyes.

Zyra offered a smile at Addy when she came over, glancing at Chiron when he started talking. "Watch him pick the Olympians' children," She mumbled, crossing her arms as she waited for Chiron to pick the team of demigods.

@German_Boats

"Chiron knows the strengths of all the gods, even the more minor ones." Addy tried to reassure her friend, but she wasn't positive she believed it herself. Being a child of an Olympian, she often felt guilty that the twelve and their children got all the glory.
"I haven't hand picked anyone," Chiron continued. "But I know that we will need a child of Apollo, a child of Athena, and a child of Ares." he said, and Addy's face turned red. Her friend, sadly, had been right. "Other volunteers from any other cabin are welcome to to join. Twelve people will be going. If you're interested, please come speak with me." He finished, stepping down and walking into another room. Instantly, chatter exploded, and people began to either run after the centaur, or flee as fast as possible.
"We need to volunteer," Addy urged her friend. "This is a chance to get out of here and do something." she hoped Zyra would join her.
(Obviously, most of you will be volunteering. If you want you can write that scene with Chiron, or we can fast forward)

@Toaster group

"Shoot. People I know are up there." Angel complained, seeing familiar faces crowding Chiron. "Guess I'd better get up there then." She stood up and walked towards the group, Anna trailing behind her.

(I'm skipping the talk with Chiron part.)

@German_Boats

(Yeah I didn't rlly want to do that either
yaaaaay we're in the group now) (I guess we wait for the others to decide how they want to do it)

Deleted user

(I don't really care, I feel like maybe we should start when they leave or when they're going to face a monster or something?)

@German_Boats

( Good plan. Fast forward, it's been… three days, and now we're all leaving. It's dawn. )
Chiron approached the leader of the mission, a girl from the Ares cabin. Addy listened in on their conversation, hoping to hear something useful.
"This isn't a normal mission, as it isn't a quest, nor has it been issued by the Oracle. I pray that no harm comes to you and your team on the way." they exchanged a few more words, but Addy no longer wanted to listen. Instead she turned to her friends that would be joining her. (all of you)
"I've never been on a mission, or a quest. I want to say it's exiting, but… you know. The fate of the world is kind of compromised…" then she thought for a moment. "How can we even do this without an Oracle anyway?" she wondered.

@Heterological

Michael fingered his hand cannon. He had gotten less training than he'd like, but thankfully a Hecate kid had helped him with some of the disadvantages of a gun. He sighed. "No idea."

@MusicElle-is-here

Daisy shrugged. “Let’s just do our best to not die?” she suggested. She spun the charm bracelet anxiously, glad her knives were strapped to her belt so she wouldn’t fidget with them.

@Toaster group

Angel was simply humming and walking in circles.

Stop! You're making me dizzy! Anna shreiks.

The girl halts, noticing some of the team is also watching her. "Uh…sorry. Nervous habit." She apologized.

@German_Boats

Addy sighed listening to Chiron's last goodbyes as he loaded the twelve into a moving van. The oldest person in the group was tasked with driving most of the way, but Addy guessed people would end up taking turns. It was a long way to go to Camp Jupiter. She also suspected the journey wouldn't be very easy either. Even though the van had charms on it to mask the scent of halfbloods, twelve in one place was still very strong.
Except for the one driver, everyone sat in the back on the floor so less attention would be drawn. All the seats had been taken out, but there was soft carpet to sit on, and seatbelts to strap you to the wall. As everyone took their seats, Addy said a prayer to her father, asking for protection.

@Toaster group

Angel sat looking out the window, listening to music through her headphones. She never really enjoyed long car rides. She prayed that no lives would be lost.
To her mother?
No. She's christian.
Yes, her mother is a greek entity, but Angel doesn't see her as a god.
(I'm pretty sure you can be the child of an Olympian and have a different religion. Not sure tho.)

@Heterological

Michael sat in the back with a book. Reading. Like always.

He had never really thought about this part of the trip. The uncomfortable parts. But then, that was usually skimmed through in the stories. So he had never realized how much time there was for the tension to build up.

Zyra wasn't sure what to do anymore, the silence was usually comforting but this was one of the few times it wasn't. She was in a corner and was playing with a small ball of darkness, making random shapes and making it do random things.

@German_Boats

Addy picked at her nails, groaning inwardly. She almost wished for a monster attack.
"So," she began awkwardly is this everyones first mission?"

@Becfromthedead group

(Shoot, I've been really busy with school stuff. I'll try to be more active, at least on my group RPs ig? Still, I've got stuff going on all this week, so I might be a little spotty)

@German_Boats

(You're fine; if you ever are gone for to long and you need for someone to catch you up just let me know)
Addy smiled, grateful somebody answered.
"I always hear about missions and quests and stuff. It's a little weird to be sent without the request of an Oracle, but I guess people have been sent on missions before." She though about Nico Di-Angelo, son of Hades. He'd been discovered and brought to camp by Half Bloods sent by Chiron.

@Toaster group

"Well, I wouldn't know much about it. All of this is a bit weird to me." She had heard of the legends, of the children of the big three. Perceus, Thalia, and Nico were very powerful. She wished she could be like them. Instead, she was stuck being a daughter of the Olympian of self-centeredness.

@MusicElle-is-here

“As long as we don’t die,” Daisy butted in, once again messing with the charm bracelet. She still couldn’t remember whose it had been originally. Her eyes roamed the group, searching for anything of value that she could take. Just because she was helping the camp didn’t mean she had to turn into a goody-two-shoes.

@Becfromthedead group

Lewis was sitting with the group who had also been called on the quest. He was shaken. Through all these years, he had never been selected for a quest- at least nothing major, beyond small things around New York City. He had never shown any signs of power, so he had always figured it was on the risky side to send him out. Oh gods, what if they made fun of him for being the deadweight of the group? Son of a minor goddess? Generally unskilled?
I'm doomed.
