Mycah returned to the car and started filling up the tank, which was rather boring. When it was finally full, they quickly hopped back into the car and turned the car on without much trouble. They pulled out of the gas station and headed out of the town.

"Probably. You have any ideas about that?" Mycah nodded, then looked over at Winter. They might have grabbed some stuff that could be useful in that department, but they'd have to check.

"Well, let's hope I have something like that. Could you look for me?" Mycah asked, nodding towards their backpack. They thought they might have had something like a bandana in there, but checking while driving wouldn't end well.

Winter nodded and started to look through Mycah's bag to check. He hummed softly, looking through it. "Yeah, you've got one." He said after a moment.

"Ah, good." Mycah sighed in relief. At least they didn't have to stop and get something before continuing on to the bank. That would have been an annoying stop.

The landscape passed in a blur, and Merilla soon appeared in front of them. Mycah narrowed their eyes slightly at it, then looked at Winter. "Are we just driving around until we find a good bank?"

"Nope." Mycah shook their head and kept driving. As they got into the town, they slowed down slightly and started looking around. "If you see a good place, tell me."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter nodded. "Alright. Try not to look too suspicious, though." He replied with a little laugh, looking around the town and keeping an eye out.

"Me? Suspicious? Never." Mycah shook their head and kept looking around. "It's not like we're two wanted people driving a stolen car." They laughed slightly and stopped at a stop sign.

Mycah grinned at Winter. They were really, truly enjoying Winter's company. He was capable of taking care of himself, and he was pleasant to be with. The perfect friend, in their opinion.

Mycah kept driving, still looking for a bank. "There should be one here, shouldn't there? What kind of town is this without a bank on the main street?" They asked, the slightest hint of annoyance in their voice.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter sighed softly, looking around. "i don't know." he replied, frowning. "I mean…there has to be one around here somewhere." he frowned.

"And yet… Nothing." Mycah sighed. They were almost coming to the end of the main street, and Mycah still hadn't seen something that even loosely resembled a bank.

"Hmm." Mycah turned where Winter had pointed. They could have sworn there was a bank in the town. There has to be one… but it appeared they'd have to really look for it. Curses.

"Yeah…" Mycah nodded, their head swiveling back and forth as they searched. Nothing, nothing, nothing… and then something. "There! That one's a bank, right?" They prayed it was, and not a really weird-looking house or shop.

As they drew closer, it became obvious that it was, in fact, a real bank. "Thank the gods." Mycah let out a breath and drove past, searching for a parking spot that would be easy to access, but out of the way.

Mycah accepted the bandana, then parked. "You can go first. You look much more intimidating than me," they offered, turning the car off.

Mycah tied the bandana over their face as well, pausing for a second before untieing their hair. It wasn't as if this would be at all difficult. Having peripheral vision wasn't that important, anyway. They got out of the car, waiting for Winter to lead the way.
