"I guess. At least it's kind of nice outside," Mycah sighed, looking up at the shop signs. Maybe the supermarket was hiding behind a fancy name, though they hoped it wasn't.

He nodded. "Yeah. This would be miserable if it was rainy or windy or anything." he kept looking around, keeping an eye out for the supermarket.

"Indeed." Mycah agreed, glancing up and down another intersection. "I really hope there's a huge sign and it's really obvious." Finding nothing like that down or up the road, they continued on.

"Hmm. Which of us would be less intimidating, then?" Mycah asked, looking at Winter with a small smile. "But I hope it doesn't come to that."

"Yeah, I guess." Mycah shrugged. "People do sometimes underestimate short people's ability to be scary." They glanced down the next road, their face lighting up slightly. "That looks a bit like a supermarket, doesn't it?"

Mycah walked quickly, desperately hoping that the store was, in fact, a supermarket. They didn't really know what else it could be, especially as they got closer and saw the people with shopping carts and bags full of fresh produce.

Winter let out a breath as he saw the people. "This has to be it. If it isn't, someone's going to die." he grumbled as they came closer, shaking his head a little bit. He really hoped this was it.

Mycah gave the building a once-over, finding a surprisingly small sign proclaiming that it was a supermarket. "Well, lucky for everyone, this is a supermarket." They wrinkled their nose at the number of people there.

"Agreed." Mycah nodded, giving Winter a thankful smile as they entered the supermarket. It was pretty busy, and Mycah honestly didn't know where to start. "Where should we stop at first?" They asked softly, looking around a bit nervously.

"Right." Mycah nodded slowly. "We should get a basket." They wove through a crowd of people and picked up a hand-held basket. After another glance around, they started towards the produce section.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter nodded a little bit, staying near Mycah. It was a bit harder for him to weave through the crowd, due to his height, but he managed it.

Mycah was not a fan of all the people there. Any one of them could be enemies, though it was unlikely. "What fruits do you want to get?" They asked, looking up at Winter.

"We'll get some apples and grapes, then. Those are easy enough," Mycah decided, walking towards a display of apples. "Could you get the grapes? Any anything else you might want," They added, giving Winter a small smile.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter nodded, and grabbed some of the grapes, putting them in the basket. "Alright." he replied simply. He ended up also grabbing some pears as well.

Mycah was busy picking out some good apples. They got a good amount and put them in the basket as well. "Anything else we should get in produce before our next stop?"

"A salad would be nice." Mycah shrugged and walked over to the vegetables. They grabbed a box of lettuce, then a little carton of cherry tomatoes. Allx had always loved those.

Mycah continued through the store, grabbing some more stuff they might need. "Are we missing anything?" They asked, looking at Winter. The basket was pretty full, and Mycah was mostly sure they had everything they needed, at least for now.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter looked in the basket, taking in everything, and shook his head. "No, I think that's it." he replied with a quick smile, looking over at Mycah.

"Good. Let's get out of here," Mycah breathed, walking up to an open check-out line. They handed their basket to the cashier, then unslung their backpack. As the cashier was checking things out, they tried to make it look like the money was in a wallet or something less suspicious than inside a pocket of a backpack.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Winter nodded a little bt. "Yeah, alright." he replied, following mycah to the counter and keeping an eye out for anyone and anything suspicious.

Mycah was waiting rather impatiently for the cashier to finish scanning everything, but they really just wanted to be out of there. There were too many people there and not enough exits. The cashier finally told them the total, and Mycah quickly gave them the correct amount of money. They shoved the change in the backpack and picked up the two bags of stuff.
