(I don't really know, but definitely magic history)
Azami walked down the hall, a sleepy expression on her face. "Tired.." she mumbled, narrowly missing a crowd of students in her path. She made it to her locker and somehow opened it, before collapsing into it, already snoring softly.
(Azami is basically me in the morning)
Adrian noticed Azami from across the hall. He slipped over and gently shook her shoulder, spare bottle of coffee in hand. He was used to this; it happened nearly every morning.
"Hey, sleepyhead. Hope you like caramel. Maybe get some more sleep tonight, yeah?"
"Thanks.." Azami muttered, taking the coffee in both hands. "And I did sleep last night," she said, sipping her coffee. "I'm just-" She stifled a yawn. "-not a morning person."
She drained the coffee and wiped her mouth with her sleeve. "That's better," she sighed. She grabbed her things from her locker and slammed it shut. "What class do we have, again?"
"I think we have Physics first thing," Adrian replied, taking the bottle and tossing it into a nearby trash bin. He gestured for Avi and Mitch to join them.
(What kinda school are we thinking? Maybe a boarding school? Anyway, I'll keep it neutral for now and if anyone has an idea lemme know !)
(Agh also I'm sorry it kinda sucks i just have no inspiration or creativity in me right now)
As the first class of the day ended, Maev bent to pack her books. Her bag was tattered and the contents were too large for it, but she forced the bag closed anyway. She got up and left the room, wishing she was good enough at magic to do it out in the open. Although, she'd never been good at preforming spells, even simple ones for mending a book bag, so she stuck to the "normal" way. Oh well. Her day had been alright so far, and she wouldn't dare to test out magic in case of ruining it. But, as she ran down the hallway to her next class, she heard a definite rip, and all of her books fell to the ground.
Great, she thought, scrambling to pick them up. Just… great.
Lol sorry I suggested and then ghosted but yeah pretty much like a boarding school for all sorts of different species - so most of their time would be spent with fellow students and professors.
Also, I'll be joining with two characters also if that's okay!
Name: Luna Empire
Age: 17
Race/Species: Unknown, but everyone knows she's a night faerie … or do they?
Gender: F
Sexuality: Bi
Basic Appearance: Pale skin, thin eyes and long tangled hair.
Basic Personality: Prefers to stay in the shadows, but wants equal rights for vampires. Withdrawn and professional-like.
Other: loves garlic. Yum.
Everyday before classes start, Luna stood outside the most frequently visited area in the school passing out pamphlets. For what, you ask? It was a controversial topic but one Luna thought was worth it - Border Allowance for Bat-like Beings - also known as BABB. (They couldn't say Vampire because it would be too controversial but she hopes you know what she means).
When she saw two angels and a witch from her Physics class she quickly went back into advertiser mode.
"Join BABB and make history!" she begin, extending her hand. "Please join BABB! Don't be against equal rights for all species. Bat-like species are people too! Provide refuge to the needy!"
She didn't know if they were paying attention at all - most people simply pretended they didn't see her - but she continued on.
"BABB meets after school Monday, Tuesday, Thursday at 3:45! Please come if you are interested!"
Name: Naikkaitkit Zorde (Professor Zor)
Age: 30-something
Race/Species: Dragonkin (half dragon)
Gender: GF - use pronouns he/him
Sexualtiy: straight
Basic Appearance: Short spiky pink hair with glasses, with green-yellow eyes.
Basic Personality: Teacher of Magic History for all grades, lives for the end-of-the-year presentations where students try to create original, never-seen-before spells.
Other: Hates vampires with a passion. Loves to paint.
"Oh," Maev said, glancing at the girl who had bent down to help her. "Um, yes, thank you. That would be great." Maev gathered the fallen books in her arms, leaving the torn bag on the ground. "Are you sure you can mend it? It looks pretty done to me, but if you can…"
Mitch stared rather rudely at Luna as she advertised. "Do you guys think it's a good idea, letting vampires in?" He leaned back against the lockers and folded his arms. "I mean like, equal rights yeah! But I thought they didn't like werewolves." He added a sad whine onto the end of his sentence and made it twice as pathetic.
A pamphlet fluttered to the floor next to Maev and the other girl. Somebody must've dropped it. Maev picked it up and only read the title, 'Border Allowance for Bat-Like Beings' before pocketing it.
(skjlasklfdsaksfda nooooooo i'm so sorry i'll have to drop out because I don't think I can keep up with yall, cause i'm already lost and- yeah, i'm sorry-)
Luna was honestly just glad that someone was willing to have a discussion with her about BABB.
She raised her voice so that more people could hear her. "It is true that many members of the vampire community have negative leftover feelings from the war against the werewolfs, however that idea of theirs only exists because they are forced to live separately from everyone else. It doesn't help that we persecute them. Vampires and werewolves from other countries that have assimilated vampires have barely any prejudices against each other."
"War?" Mitch echoed. "It was a one sided massacre." He growled at no one in particular and turned to face Adrian, "I'd like to leave." He said in low tones.
"So will you blame young children for the mistakes their ancestors have made?" Luna asked, anxious. At this rate BABB would be empty for the rest of the year.
"Actually? Y'know what?" Mitch turned on his heels and walked quickly over to Luna. "I'll join your club. Can I have a paper thing?"
"W-What?" Luna asked. "Really?"
She extended a pamphlet for Mitch to take. "We meet at 3:45 today!"
Azami stumbled down the hallway, stopping in front of Luna. "You have meetings Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, yeah? I think I can join, then," she said, yawning. "I have nothing else to do on those days, anyway. And I wanna make a change in the world and all that." Azami grinned.
After her bag was mended and she was on the way to her next class, Maev looked through the pamphlet she found on the floor. She was knowledgeable about the vampire situation, but she never really cared. But after closely reading the information, she found herself thinking about all the stories and tales she heard about vampires. She didn't exactly understand why they were looked down about, and she realized that she'd like to know more. "Why not?" she muttered under her breath. Then, louder, as she slowly passed the girl handing out the pamphlets, "I'll be there too."
Luna's eyes sparkled. She didn't know what she had done to deserve this miracle but she didn't mind. This wasn't a trick, right? "Alright! We meet in the Magical Science Center!" she exclaimed, and tried not to look too happy as she gathered her school supplies and headed to Physics class as the bell rang.
Azami followed Luna into Physics, and took a seat in the back of the classroom. She tilted her chair back against the wall and put her sandalled feet on the desk, crossing her legs.
(does anyone wanna create a Lore on why everyone hates vampires? Not extremely important but might be helpful. Otherwise I can do it too)
(also here is a thing for Magic History with Professor Zor: mini lesson summary: right now in grade 12 they are working on a project to make see if they can write original spells which will then in the end be tested by someone who can do magic well. Let's call the project the Original Spells Project. This might be helpful for creating a spell to bring vampires in too if anyone wants to go the illegal route haha. In grade 11 they are learning how to live outside the border, just in case anyone in the future has to study abroad, so every day they go outside the border and encounter the various ferocious things that live there)
Luna sat in class, daydreaming. She didn't mind Physics but right now there was important things to be thinking of. Since there wasn't anyone in the club yet, and she hadn't thought there would be, she hadn't bothered asking for a teacher supervisor, but now they needed one in order to be an official group. However, most teachers were taken by other clubs, and she knew many of them didn't support her cause…
(lol let's see if we can convince professor zor to supervise it though he hates vampires)
(^^ good idea)
(I can do the Lore thing if you'd like, I could probably have it ready by tomorrow!)
Maev walked into Physics and took a seat near the back. Then, she started to mutter spells to make the pages of her book turn on their own. She hadn't yet mastered the spell, but the pages slowly turned. Maev was always on the lookout to improve her witch abilities in any way she could.
(alrighty, I decided to go with something simple, so that it's understood! I wrote it pretty quickly, so I hope it's okay. The Fear of Vampires)
(ooo looks good! i like it :D)
