He shifted a little bit, still sleeping.
He shifted a little bit, still sleeping.
She forced herself to relax again, looking over at him. One thing about her that never changed, in costume or out of it, was that as long as she could help someone she would… Regardless of what happened to her.
And that was the exact reason he wasn't telling her everything.
Another thing about her was she was stubborn. One way or another she would find a way to help him.
He shifted again, still sleeping contentedly.
She gave a slow sigh and let her eyes close, planning to rest for just a moment.
He kept sleeping, curled up on the couch.
She was almost meditating, keeping her eyes closed and focusing on her breathing.
He kept sleeping quietly.
(Happy Birthday!!!! 🎂🎁🎉)
She had come close to actually dozing off for a moment when her phone gave a soft buzz.
(thank you!!)
He was still asleep on the couch.
(😁🥳)
She sighed a little and stood up to met Sophie at the door. ”Hey.” she whispered in greeting. ”Thanks for the clothes.”
”Here you go.” Sophie smiled as she handed over the bag. ”How is he?”
(:D)
Killian shifted a little, but didn't wake up.
”Sleeping at the moment, but I think he's doing better.” Jade answered keeping her voice down.
”Oh…” Sophie whispered, glancing around her friend as she tried to see Killian. ”Sorry.”
Killian kept sleeping.
”Sophie, you should probably go before your cab driver gets annoyed.” Jade pointed out. ”I’ll pay you back when I get home.” she offered.
”Ugh… Fine.” Sophie groaned softly. ”See you tomorrow?”
”Probably. Depends on how much better he feels.” Jade shrugged.
Killian rolled over onto his back, still sleeping.
”Alright. See ya.” Sophie agreed, heading back to the waiting cab.
”See ya.” Jade smiled a little as she watched her friend, closing the door once they started driving.
Killian continued to sleep.
Jade looked at him and quietly walked over, setting her bag down near the table.
Killian shifted a little.
Jade knelt beside the couch and gently placed a hand on his shoulder.
Killian twitched, but didn't awaken.
Jade didn't move yet, debating on whether or not to wake him up. She wasn't strong enough to carry him to his room on her own, but he looked so peaceful right now.
Killian shifted a little, still sleeping.
Jade sighed and gently shook his shoulder. ”Hey, sleepyhead.” she said softly.
Killian grumbled, not waking up.
She chuckled softly, shaking him a little more. ”Come on. I can't carry you on my own, big guy.” she teased.
Killian cracked an eye open, grumbling again.
”Think you can stand?” she asked, smiling a little.
