Maddie walked over, Lenore still unconscious on her sheet of darkness, “Nice, I can do that as well. But with my darkness of course. I wonder when Lenore will wake up?”
Maddie walked over, Lenore still unconscious on her sheet of darkness, “Nice, I can do that as well. But with my darkness of course. I wonder when Lenore will wake up?”
Léonie walked up to the chatting pair. "I think I can heal… I can't feel any cuts or bruises anywhere anymore. Anyone want some help?" she asked the girls.
"I'm good Leonie, but thanks. Let's get back to the others, I think we got all of the trapped animals out."
“Good idea.” The trio walked over to the rescued animals and the others, Maddie setting Lenore down on a patch of grass.
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) saw the rest of the girls and smiled. She then paused for a second.
“Guys, did you hear that? I think it’s footsteps.”
“No, where’s is coming from?” Maddie asked lowering her voice slightly.
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) pointed to her right, the direction of the fair.
“And they’re headed towards us. Fast.”
Maddie nodded and moved towards the sound, and whispered to the girls, “stay here.” She moved towards te noise, trying to keep as quiet as possible. After a while she moved back to the group. “Couldn’t see anything,” she said quietly, “but we should still be quiet and careful.”
Luna nodded.
“We should move all the animals and rejoin the rest of the class, they might be leaving soon and we don’t want to be left behind. Do not tell anyone. We should discuss this further at the school.” Maddie looked away from the group.
Luna piped up, "I agree with her. And if we are going to get through this together, then this silly little rivalry of misunderstandings has to come to an end. I don't know how it even started, but it needs to stop. I hate fighting with you guys."
I shrugged. “Fine, I can put up with being in group for a while. But I’m used to being alone so sorry for anything I do in advance.”
"We all have to get used to it. People make mistakes. We're not perfect. Leonie and I have been friends for years, and even so we manage to hurt each other every one in a while. It happens." Luna shrugged her shoulders. "What I'm saying is you don't have to apologize."
“Yeah, I kinda do, but let’s move Lenore and get back to the class.”
(anyone going to post?)
Léonie nodded along, shooting glances at Maddie. It would take some effort for them to be friends, but she'd do it. It was necessary for each of their sanities and possibly survival.
She walked over to Lenore and gently scooped her up into her arms. Steadying the girl, she said, "Let's get a move on, guys. I don't want to be stuck here any longer."
Luna used her water to create a shield around the girls so that they wouldn't inhale all the smoke.
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) said, “Um, this might sound weird, but we’re going to have to hold hands or link arms or whatever. Just some sort of contact. I’m pretty sure the people will be shocked to see a large moving bubble of water, so we need to make contact. That way, we’ll all be hidden in my invisibility.”
Luna nodded. "Good idea." She linked her arms with Leonie and amy (the most wonderful woman in the world). "How are we going to explain the wolf??" She wondered aloud.
“Here,” Maddie said. She made a small patch of darkness that settled on the wolf’s blue patterns, “Now everyone will think it’s just a normal dog you found and, needs a home. Hopefully.” Maddie cautiously linked arms on the other side of amy (the most wonderful woman in the world).
Luna smiled. "Thanks."
“Okay, let’s go,” amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) prompted the rest of the group.
Léonie nodded and held Lenore closer to her. "Here we go."
Luna silently walked with the other girls back to the fair.
Maddie kept quiet the entire way back to the park, and by the time they got back the other students were already boarding the bus.
Léonie hopped onto the bus, hiding Lenore in her arms from view. She sat collapsed onto a seat by the window and set Lenore down, head on her lap.
Luna sat down behind Leonie, beside Maddie. She took out her ipod and put on some music, Chance and the wolf resting under her. Her teacher, of course, had agreed right away to letting Luna keep the wolf, thinking that it was just an ordinary dog that needed a home.
amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) sat behind them, wondering how she got wrapped up in this mess. She couldn’t help but feel something big was going to happen.
Léonie kept her hands in her lap as opposed to on Lenore's back. It would have been weird. A heavy silence had settled in the bus, and she looked out the window with an audible sigh.
(when is Lenore going to wake up?)
(Dunno, when jaz is on hopefully)
Maddie looked at Luna who had sat beside her and let out a small sigh. She turned her head away and looked at the park slowly getting smaller as they left. She rested her head back against the head rest and closed her eyes, trying to sleep as she hadn’t in days.
