I went to find Leonie.
feeling nervous and nauseous.
I would tell Leonie I liked her.

Maddie looked back and saw Lenore , luna, amy (the most wonderful woman in the world) and Léonie following. She made a sharp left seeing if they would still follow.

I made my way into the forest following Leonie.
a little worried what if I got lost?
I wondered where she was going?

They were still following!!! “What the hell do you all think you’re doing? I said to leave me alone” Maddie was angry now.

Luna ran past Maddie, into the forest. She grabbed a tree branch and swung herself up. She jumped, tree branch to tree branch. Her sister had taught her how to recognize every animals' distress calls. She passed over a stream.

Maddie sprinted after her, was she stupid? “Luna what th hell are you…” Maddie stopped dead at the sight before her. Animals lay dead around them. The forest was burnt. Just like before Maddie thought. “Luna it’s to safe you need to leave.” Maddie didn’t look at her, her eyes were scanning the surroundings.

"No it's not." Luna shouted back. "and I'm not stupid!" She said, knowing that that was probably what Maddie was thinking. She shuddered. She was terrified of fire. She dropped from the trees, shoving burnt bark and leaves aside. There was a wolf trapped under all of it.

I saw maddie and luna talking
wait why wasn't Léonie with them
where was she?
I was starting to get really anxious and concerned.
w-what if she was hurt somewhere!?
or lost?!

“Luna you don’t know how dangerous this is. Please just leave.” Maddie faced Luna she didn’t want any of them to get hurt “Please, I don’t want any of you to get hurt. It’s.. It’s..” Maddie couldn’t bring herself to finish that sentence “Please”

"I know that this is dangerous." Luna retorted, scared not for her own life but for the life of the wolf.

“How, how would you know when you haven’t been in this situation before?” She had to understand, had to make her understand. “This happened before and People died and i will not let you die luna!”

I ran up to maddie and luna.
Léonie is missing!
I told them.
they kept talking
w-what if shes hurt somewhere!?
or lost?!
I screamed.
feeling really concerned and anxious.

“You both have to leave and find her” Maddie said. “Its starts with one person then suddenly 20 people are missing and they end up dead. Go. Find HER!” Maddie said to both of them.

I ran into the park looking for Léonie.

Lenore ran off to find Leonie, luna on the other hand didn’t… Maddie wondered why she didn’t?

Léonie had been following the group of girls when she tripped over something, and fell face first. She had landed on something soft and pliable, and she pushed herself up to see what it was… and screamed.
The dead deer stared emptily up at her. Léonie tried to stand up, but a shooting pain her leg stopped her. She grabbed on to the nearest tree and pulled up, putting slight weight on her bad leg. It shook and a spasm of pain coursed through her again. She gritted her teeth and hobbled away from the deer.
She put both legs down to attempt to run away, and nothing happened. Her eyes widened in surprise; she was fine again. What was happening?

Luna was scared for Leonie, sure. But she knew that Leonie could take care of herself. Luna needed to find the survivors. The wolf she had rescued stayed by her side, helping Luna search.
