forum Ok, kinda cliche, but wanted to try this idea out? (Closed, stalkers welcomed)

Rowan made a few more and poked out to throw a few at him not really caring if they hit or not. She was having fun, but she didn't want the snowball fight to last forever. Maybe they should call it off soon?

He only made a few more, piling the final batch of them in his arms. Throwing snowballs and running around was getting tiring, and he was ready to surrender so they could take a break and continue their walk. Soren had to throw these first though, so he headed for her tree, waiting for her to pop out.

Rowan hadn't bothered to pop out after deciding she was tired and wanted to end it. So she had just ended up laying back on the snow waiting for Soren to come and launch an attack. She had no white flag and could shout out for them to surrender. Instead, she laid down completely exposed hoping he got the message.

When she didn't come out right away, he slipped behind the tree, almost stumbling on Rowan's legs. "Give up?" He asked, dropping his armful of snowballs to the ground and smiling at her. He didn't mind stopping the snowball fight, mostly since he had been planning to do just that already.

Rowan nodded as she sat up pulling her legs away so he didn't stumble over them. She sat for a moment before standing up smiling and signed to him, "Yeah. throwing snow at each other is fun! But I want to keep walking."

"Let's get back to our walk then," He said, really only understanding the second part of the signing but guessing what she was talking about in the first. There was a path cutting around the park, though it had a light dusting of slow over it so it was harder to see at first until Soren led the way over to it.

Rowan smiled and nodded following after Soren. She spotted the path after Soren led her to it and she was ready to calmly just finish the walk. Maybe she would push him into the snowbank once if she could manage it that is.

Soren smiled at her as he started walking along the path, offering his hand out for her to take if she wanted to. He liked just walking alongside her, it was nice.

Rowan took his hand with a smile. She slowly swayed their hands back and forth as they walked along. This was nice, really really nice. She wouldn't mind doing this again in other weather, and in her own clothes.

"Random question, but what bookstore do you work at?" Soren asked after a few minutes. He liked just walking with her in the park, but he also wanted to learn more about her. The snowing had started up again, but it was light, just a dusting of snow to go on top of the layer of it from last night.

Rowan let go of his hand as her black hair got dusted with the white snow. She signed to him before taking his hand again, "The Ink and Quill. It's really cosy in there."

(Sorry for being gone for so long, life has been crazy)
"I'll have to stop in some time, get some good books, maybe talk to you a little," Soren smiled and looked over at her, squeezing her hand gently as they made their way around the path that circled the park. Snow started to pile in his hair as well, though it didn't show as much in his dirty blonde hair as it did in Rowan's black hair.

Rowan nodded and smiled back at him giving his hand a slight squeeze. She started to swing their hands ever so slightly as they kept going. She knew her hair would be white on top when they arrived back at his place so she could head home.

The path wasn't much longer, and Soren walked alongside Rowan the whole way, holding her hand and letting it swing slightly. He smiled, glancing over at her as he turned back towards his apartment so they could get out of the snow.

Rowan had a smile on as she watched them exit the park. She figured he was leading the pair back to his apartment and she felt a little saddened that the walk was almost over. She leaned a little on him as they walked.

He didn't push her away when she leaned on him, instead gently letting go of her hand to move and wrap his arm around her shoulders. Soren smiled, glancing down at her to gauge her reaction to the gesture as he led them back towards his apartment.

Rowan smiled up at him leaning further into his side as they walked. She didn't mind the gesture at all and it kept her body from going cold like it was starting to do. Her body relaxed and accepted his warmth gladly.

"How is the walk so far?" He asked once his building was in sight. He was happy that she didn't push him away, enjoying the warmth that she gave when she leaned against him. Soren was getting cold as well, the snow had left his clothes wet and at the start of winter air, it was making him quite cold.

Rowan beamed up at him while she gave him a thumbs up. She had really enjoyed the walk and was sad it was coming to an end. But at the same time, she was glad because she was getting cold.

"That's good," He replied, flashing a smile back at her and going silent until they reached his building and were once again standing in front of the elevator to get back up to his apartment. The walk was officially over and he was sad to not have much time to spend with Rowan, but at the same time he was happy to change into something warm and not snow soaked.

Rowan paused for a moment to shake the snow off her head before quickly catching up to Soren. She didn’t want to track in more snow than necessary. A huge grin was on her face as she signed over to him, ”I had a lot of fun today and yesterday. Thank you for taking me out.”

"I had a ton of fun too, and it was nothing," Soren said, smiling as the elevator opened and he stepped inside. He stuck his arm out so the door wouldn't shut on her when she stepped in. "Do you want to meet up again sometime?" He asked once they were both in and the doors had shut, looking at her with his same smile, "I'd really like to spend more time with you and get to know you."

Rowan quickly stepped in so he didn't have to hold the door for long. She looked up at him as he asked his question and heart started to flutter. He wanted to talk to her again and spend time with her and this had to be one of the best days of her life. She nodded enthusiastically as she quickly signed, "I would love to meet up again!"

His smile grew and he nodded as well as the elevator went up and opened its doors on his floor, "Great!" Soren walked out once the doors opened, glancing back at Rowan to make sure she was coming.

Rowan skipped out after him a big smile on her face. She followed after him walking a little bit ahead remembering which door was Soren's. She waited outside the door looking over to Soren still smiling brightly at him.

He watched her as she stopped by his door, chuckling when he finally reached it and unlocked the door for her. "Ladies first," Soren said, opening it for her and motioning her inside with a smile. He couldn't wait to get out of snow soaked clothes, change into something warm and soft.

Rowan smiled back as she stepped inside immediately taking off her boots and his jacket. It felt rude to wear such wet clothing in his apartment, not like the rest of ensemble was much better. She would love to change into one of her big sweatshirts and fuzzy pants, but they were at her house and this was Soren’s place.

He did the same, taking off his boots and coat to let them dry before walking into the apartment further and glancing back at Rowan. "Do you want to borrow another pair of my clothes? Or were you planning on just changing into your own clothes?" He didn't mind letting her borrow more clothes, but it all depended on when she was going to leave or if she wanted to just wear what she had worn for their date.

"I, if you don't mind me staying a little longer I would love to borrow some of your clothes," Rowan signed back to him blushing. She wasn't going to leave wearing his clothes, but if he was fine with her staying a little longer she would gladly wear it. They would probably be big and comfy adjust the exact type of clothes she wanted to wear at the moment, "Maybe we could have hot chocolate too?"

"You can stay longer, definitely!" He responded, nodding, "I'll get you some dry clothes, and while you change I'll start hot chocolate." A smile didn't leave his face at the idea of hot chocolate and he nodded once more to get himself going. Soren held up a finger to motion one minute, then headed into his room, grabbing dry clothes for both Rowan and himself.
