"Mmm… a little happier." Lucas hugged Melissa again and sighed softly, closing his eyes. "Eating is good for you, Mel."
"Mmm… a little happier." Lucas hugged Melissa again and sighed softly, closing his eyes. "Eating is good for you, Mel."
"Says you." She snickered, wrapping her arms around his neck loosely. She was still holding onto the plate, so it was a rather awkward hug. "Wanna go up to my room now?"
Lucas nodded and followed Melissa up to her room. "What do you wanna do?" He asked, sitting down on the bed.
Shrugging just slightly, she sat herself on the middle of the floor. "It's more difficult, because I can't exactly do what I would normally do at a sleepover." She hummed, eating from her sandwich slowly.
"What would you normally do at a sleepover?" Lucas asked curiously. He watched her to make sure she was actually eating.
"Makeup, hair, things like that. Though I seriously doubt you want me to do your makeup." Melissa laughed lightly, stretching her legs out on the floor.
Lucas laughed a bit as well. "I dunno, it could be fun though~" He slid off the bed to sit beside Melissa. "You can braid my hair again if you want."
"You'd really wanna do what I find fun at a sleepover?" She asked with a light smirk. "Oh wait, I have an idea that could actually be kind of fun. For both of us I mean."
"I really don't mind, Melissa…" Lucas hummed softly. He actually really liked having Melissa braid his hair, but he wasn't about to admit it. "Hmm? What is it?"
"Have you ever done a face mask? I know it's silly, but it's actually fun." She smiled brightly, reaching out to run her fingers through his hair. "It's alright if you don't want to."
"No, I haven't, but I'm open to try." Lucas leaned into her hand a bit and smiled softly. "How do you do it?"
"Depends on the face mask," She hummed, taking not of his bandages. "We'll probably only get to do half of your face though."
"Why's that?" Lucas asked, confused. "Do they take a really long time to make or something?"
"No, but I'm not sure I want it up so close to your bandages." Melissa hummed, pushing herself up off the floor. "Just because, we just put those on."
"Oh… What would it even do to bandages?" He asked. "Would it damage them or something? What are face masks even made of?"
"So many questions!" Melissa laughed, picking up a bottle. "I don't really know what it would do to bandages, but it might just hurt if it touched the sensitive skin. Like almost anything."
"Um… okay." Lucas thought for a few seconds. "How would we go about making a face mask? Or can you just buy them?"
"I've got the cream for it, right here." She hummed with a smile, tossing it over to him. "You just showered, so you'll be fine. But I'm gonna go wash my face."
Lucas nodded. "I'll just… I'll wait for you to get back. I don't trust myself to not do it horrendously wrong."
Laughing softly, she twisted her hair up into a messy bun. "I was just handing it to you, in case you wanted to read it. Are you allergic to anything?" She asked in a hum, grabbing a few things from her cosmetics drawer.
"Not that I'm aware of." Lucas shrugged, reading over the bottle when Melissa suggested it. "There's some weird shit in here… is this safe?"
"Perfectly. I've done it a few times before, and I still have a stunning face." Melissa joked, carrying the few things with her to exit the room. "It's not like we're consuming it. That would be unsafe. But you don't normally consume face wash, this isn't really any different."
"Oh… alright." Lucas handed the bottle of cream back to Melissa, still pretty confused. He didn't really know much about hygiene products. Not that he didn't shower or anything, he just didn't know anything about even the simple shampoo he used.
"There's nothing to worry about," Melissa smiled to try an reassure him. "If you don't want to, you don't have to. Regardless, I'm gonna go wash my face."
"I'm fine with doing it, I just don't understand it. And you have fun with that." Lucas lay back on the floor and sighed.
Rolling her eyes, she walked out of the room to go wash her face. She'd have to figure out how to explain it better, once she had come back at least.
When Melissa returned, Lucas was drumming his fingers on his chest while he stared blankly at the ceiling. "Welcome back."
"Don't sound so excited." Melissa hummed, beginning to put everything back. "You ready, or are you too tired to do this?"
"I'm ready." Lucas sat up and moved a little closer to Melissa. "How do we do it?" He asked curiously.
Sitting down so she was facing him, she gave him a soft smile. "First, I need you to tilt your head up just a little bit."
