It took Rowan longer to fall asleep as it wasn't her own home. However, exhaustion quickly took over and she fell asleep relaxed on the couch. Hopefully, nothing would wake her during the night as she tended to be a light sleeper.

(Timeskip?)
(Yeah. To the morning?)
(yeah)
Soren was fast asleep even as morning rolled around, tangled up in his blankets in ways that made it seem like he had been wrestling them all night. In all honesty he probably was, having a bad tendency to toss and turn all night as he was sleeping.
Rowan turned over wrapping herself further in the blanket. She let out a tired yawn and slowly started to wake up. Her eyes blinked a few times not recognizing her surroundings before recalling last night. She was at Soren's that explains her current situation.
He tossed and turned for a few more minutes as slowly his body told him to wake up, and finally he cracked an eye open a few minutes later. He didn't want to get up, and yet he was anyway, however slowly he was getting himself to sit up and blink away the tiredness.
Rowan yawned again as she sat up and stretched her arms. When she dropped them back down the sweatshirt shoulder fell down with it. She didn't feel liking getting off the couch, but reached into her bag and grabbed her phone. She leaned back onto the pillow waiting to see if Soren, or his roommate she guessed, would come out to the main room.
Soren yawned and stood up a minute later, stretching and rubbing his eyes before heading out of the room, "Good morning," He mumbled, smiling at Rowan as he messed with his hair and tried to get it to look somewhat decent. At least look like he hadn't just woke up.
Rowan gave him a smile and yawned again. She did look like she just woke up, and she wasn't going to bother trying to fix it. Her smile stayed sleepy as she signed over at him, "Good morning! Sleep well I take it?"
He nodded, stretching again and letting his smile stay on his face as he headed over to the kitchen, "Want anything to eat for breakfast?" Eril hadn't come back Soren figured, mostly since his note sat untouched hanging on the fridge. He pulled it off and threw it in the garbage before opening the fridge and looking for anything to eat, glancing over his shoulder at Rowan to see her response.
Rowan nodded and finally got up off the couch. She paused and took a moment to fix up the blanket and pillow before making her way over to where Soren was. For one reason or another Rowan always woke up in a cuddly mood. Her roommate liked to joke around about that when Rowan would just wake up and lean herself against the other girl who was typically on their couch watching Tv at that point. Rowan never denied the statement but didn't bother to say much as she just kind of walked up and leaned on Soren with no real explanation. He wouldn't mind, would he?
Soren was surprised to say the least when Rowan leaned against him and glanced over at her, pausing for a moment before letting her stay leaned against her as he asked gently, "Do pancakes sound good?" Most of the time that's what he normally made in the morning, finding that it helped him wake up to cook right away.
Rowan nodded again a smiled on her face as she decidedly nestled into a comfortable position against him. He hadn’t pushed her away so she figured it was fine that she was doing this. If he wasn’t then all he had to do was say something and Rowan would stop.
It was slightly difficult to get everything ready with her leaning against him, but he wasn't going to push her away, so he made do and soon had a pan warming on the stove along with pancake mix waiting to be made. "Did you sleep good?" He asked gently, very hesitantly and lightly wrapping his arm around her shoulders. It was light enough that he would let go if she wanted him to whenever she wanted him to though incase she was uncomfortable.
Rowan was worried she was being a little bit of an annoyance while he worked in the kitchen. But he wasn’t pushing her away and he even wrapped an arm around, everything seemed to be fine with him. The more touch the better in her still sleepy mind. She didn’t try to move his arm as she nodded once more giving him a thumbs up.
"That's good." He smiled as he finally got to making pancakes, not particularly worried at how many he made since Eril would definitely eat any extra. Soren didn't want to unwrap his arm from around Rowan when his phone buzzed in his pocket, but he did anyway, smiling when he saw the message was from his vanishing roommate asking if he wanted coffee. "Do you want coffee?" He asked Rowan, "Eril is offering to get some before he comes back here."
Rowan pouted slightly when the arm was removed from around her, but she wasn't going to complian. She paused for a moment at hearing the question. Eril must've been Soren's roommate. Eventually, she nodded and signed to him, "Yes please."
Quickly he put his own order into the message, then held out his phone for Rowan, "Add whatever you want to get, I'm paying." He scooped the finished pancakes off the pan and slid them onto a plate before starting more, humming quietly and letting himself wake up slowly.
Rowan took the phone and thought about what she wanted to get this morning. She didn't want to overspend since it was Soren's money and he was paying for her, again. After a moment or two, she finished typing up her own order and sent the message off. Did his roommate know she was here? She didn't know, but it would be fine. She put his phone on the counter before going back to silently watching him cook.
Gently, he looped his arm back around her, not stopping his humming though quieting it down a little since it definitely wasn't the best. "Now, the real question I have to ask you, is do you want to eat these at the table like civilized adults? Or do you want to sit on the couch and watch TV while eating?" Either way he would be fine with the answer, mostly since it meant he was able to spend time with her and eat pancakes, which were by far one of his favorite breakfast foods.
Rowan thought for a moment enjoying his arm back around her. She smiled up at him as she signed to him, "What's the fun in being a civilized adult? Let's eat in front of the TV and watch cartoons as well. Does that sound good to you?"
He smiled and as he read her sign his smile grew and he nodded, "That sounds perfect." Soren pulled two plates from the cabinet and set them next to the one overflowing with pancakes, nodding with his head for her to grab some, "Syrup is in the fridge if you want some, and butter is in there as well." Personally, Soren liked to have his pancakes doused in more syrup than humanly possible, but his roommate liked them with just butter, and so there were always two options to choose from.
Rowan grabbed a stack of pancakes and perked up at the mention of syrup. She wouldn’t have been able to enjoy these delicious smelling pancakes without syrup. Or chocolate chips. Either worked. She smiled and went for the fridge to grab the syrup hoping Soren didn’t mind. She couldn’t exactly sign to him at that moment.
It only took him a few minutes longer to finished the last few pancakes that were cooking and stack his plate with some before dutifully cleaning up his mess, or at least putting everything in the sink to wash later. He smiled and brought the syrup to his plate, dousing the stack in syrup before grabbing two forks and handing one to Rowan. "Now for cartoons." He said with a small laugh, heading to the couch with the plate in hand.
Rowan took a fork grinning as her pancakes were now happily doused in syrup. A smile was on her face as she followed after him and sat down on the couch putting the plate on the table in front of it. She wanted to get situated before eating because she didn't want to risk getting syrup on the couch.
He set his plate down as well before sitting down, grabbing the remote from where it was tossed on the table and turning on the TV. It took him a minute to find the right channel, but when he did he smiled and grabbed his plate, making sure the volume was up loud enough and digging in.
Rowan smiled at him as he turned up the Tv. She grabbed her plate of pancakes and started to eat. She was extremely careful as she found the best position to both eat and lean on Soren. It wasn't that hard, but it was nice.
"How are they?" He asked after a few minutes, having already finished a significant amount of his own pancakes. Having Rowan leaned against him while watching cartoons and having his favorite breakfast almost didn't seem real, it seemed to nice and perfect. His sweatshirt was still big on her and whenever it slipped off her shoulder it looked super cute.
Rowan put the plate down having finished at least half of her stack. She enjoyed them immensely and was enjoying the moment even more. After the fourth slip, she gave up on correcting it leaving her shoulder exposed. She smiled up at him as she signed, "They're delicious! Thank you for making them!"
He smiled back, "That's good, and no problem, I love making pancakes and breakfast in general." Any other meal wasn't his favorite, mostly because he couldn't be as fun with it as he could be when making breakfast. Within moments of him finishing his sentence, a knock came from the door and Soren shook his head, "That..must be Eril. Come in!" He shouted the last part, smiling at Rowan again, "Coffee is here."
