Killian opened his eyes when he heard her coming back, looking over at her.
Killian opened his eyes when he heard her coming back, looking over at her.
She smiled at him and sat down in the chair nearby.
He stretched slightly. "We can watch something, if you like?"
She looked at him and shrugged. ”If you want to… I don't mind.”
He nodded. "The remotes are over there." he shrugged.
She smiled a little with a brief nod before picking up the remote. ”Let me know if you see anything you want to watch.”
He nodded a little bit. "Alright."
She turned on the tv and started flipping through the channels for something to watch.
He watched quietly, curled up on the couch.
Out of habit, she paused for a second longer on the news but continued past them since she didn't think Killian would want to watch that while he was sick.
Killian let out a breath, closing his eyes for a moment, then opening them again.
Jade smiled at him for a moment when she looked over to check on him as she finally settled on a comedy show.
He smiled back sleepily, then looked at the TV.
Only half paying attention to the show, she reached a hand out for him to hold, if he wanted any reassurance.
He took her hand gently.
She smiled again at his need for physical contact while he was sick and gently gave his hand a slight squeeze.
He shot her a little smile.
She kept smiling softly at him and began to rub her thumb against the back of his hand.
He let out a breath.
She raised a brow slightly at the sound.
He looked over at her.
”You alright?” she asked softly, still rubbing the back of his hand.
He nodded. "Mhm."
She smiled at the mostly non-verbal answer and continued to rub her thumb over his knuckles.
He leaned his head back on the couch.
She let out a small contented sigh and glanced back at the tv.
He smiled softly, still watching the show.
She continued to hold his hand as she enjoy his company and the show.
He smiled softly for a moment.
She returned the smile, seeing his out of her peripheral vision.
