He shook his head a little bit. "No."
He shook his head a little bit. "No."
”That’s ok.” she assured him, kissing his temple.
He let out a breath.
”Anything I can get for you?” she asked gently.
He shook his head tiredly.
”Ok.” she smiled sweetly at him, kissing his cheek. ”Let me know when that changes.”
He nodded. "'kay."
She nodded at him and stood up to stretch out a little.
He shifted a little, sitting up.
Normally, she wasn't one for just sitting around, not doing anything, but she wanted to be near him when he needed her.
He sniffled a little bit, obviously still sick as he looked up at her.
She gave him a sympathetic look and crouched next to him, brushing his hair back again.
He leaned into her hand, letting out a soft breath.
She smiled at him. ”You seem to be more snuggly when you're sick.” she informed him.
He grumbled something under his breath.
”Hmm?” she raised a brow, leaning closer to him. ”What was that?”
"Nothing." He replied innocently.
"Oh, come on." she smirked as she leaned in even closer, placing her nose against his. "Tell me."
He pulled away and sneezed.
(lol that’s what she gets for being nosey!)
She blinked at the sneeze and pulled away as well, ending up falling backwards.
(mhm!)
He laughed a little bit, looking over at her. "You okay?"
She nodded and looked up at him from the floor. ”Yeah. It's not the worst thing that knocked me down but I'm probably going to have to wash my face.” she joked.
He laughed again, shrugging. "Shouldn't have pushed your face so close to mine, then."
She mock pouted as she stood up. ”I was trying to be cute.” she told him, lightly flicking his forehead with her pointer finger.
He stuck his tongue out.
She would have returned the gesture but… she still needed to wash her face off first so she didn't get sick later. ”I’ll be right back.” she told him, heading over to the bathroom.
He nodded a little bit, snuggling into the couch again.
Once in the bathroom, she took a washcloth and ran it under hot water before using it to clean off the sneeze.
He closed his eyes for a moment.
Jade wasn't really a germaphobe by any means, but she couldn't really afford to get sick. She didn't like how helpless it made her feel. Sighing, she rinsed the cloth out with near scalding water and left it in the sink for now before heading back to the couch.
