He shrugged again. "Mm." was the only response he mustered."
He shrugged again. "Mm." was the only response he mustered."
”Do you want another blanket?” she asked, knowing that keeping him warm was the best way to burn off the fever.
He nodded miserably. "Yes please." he mumbled.
”Alright. I'll be right back.” she smiled softly, remembering where he had kept the spare blankets from when she… had intended to sleep on the couch when his father had escaped.
He nodded again, closing his eyes. His black hair was messy, over his face.
She stood up and walked over to the closet, grabbing a couple extra blankets before walking back. She set one at the other end of the couch then unfolded the other, draping it over him.
He looked up at her. "Thanks."
”You’re welcome.” she smiled kindly as she tucked him in.
He let out a breath, rubbing his eyes.
”Need anything else?” she asked, standing up.
He shrugged slightly. "I don't know."
She smirked a little at his indecisive answer and sat back in the chair. ”Ok. Just let me know if that changes.”
Killian sighed softly, staying curled on the couch.
Jade smiled softly at him, trying to remember anything else that might help him recover besides rest and water.
Killian closed his eyes again for a moment.
Jade shifted slightly in her seat to get more comfortable, glancing briefly at Killian.
Killian opened his eyes again, looking at her.
Jade gave him a soft smile.
He smiled back.
She chuckled a little, feeling a little awkward that she didn't have anything to really do. She didn't mind taking care of him, it was just the gaps in between that she didn't know what to do with.
Killian let out a breath. "I don't feel good." he whined.
Jade smiled kindly at him and nodded. ”I know, sweetie.”
He snuggled closer to his blankets.
She giggled softly at how adorable he looked all bundled up like that.
He looked up at her, blinking tiredly.
She smiled at him and reached over to gently mess with his hair.
He leaned into her hand, cat-like.
Her smile grew as he nuzzled into her hand.
He closed his eyes, still leaning into her hand.
She stood up, keeping her hand on him and moved to sit with him on the couch.
