Payton pulled away a little, glancing at the clock. "Don't get ahead of yourself, class is about to end." He said quietly, relaxing against him and pressing kisses to his cheek.

Kyle groaned. "Just one french kiss? We haven't had one in so long…" He pulled Payton's chin up and looked at him with sad eyes.

Payton opened his mouth to reply but went quiet as the bell started ringing. "Looks like you'll have to survive until after school." He said, patting Kyle's cheek and sliding off his lap.

"I'll see you after school. Love you!" Kyle grinned and walked in the opposite direction. Once he was out of sight he ran a hand through his hair. Get yourself together!

Payton waved and continued his day happily, getting out of his last class a little early. He packed up his things and texted Kyle. Meet me at my car?

Kyle looked at his phone once it beeped and texted Payton back. You know it! He headed to his last classes. Once he finished he walked to Payton's car and kissed him. "Now can I have a french kiss?"

"I don't even get a hello?" Payton asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "I've hardly seen you all day."

"I just really wanted to kiss you, but hello, how was your day?" Kyle kissed his cheek.

"It was good, how about you?" Payton grinned, leaning over and kissing him happily.

"Lonely without you~" he whispered in his ear before kissing his neck. "Please can I have my french kisses. You're good at them."

“Yeah, yeah.” Payton leaned over again and kissed him, holding Kyle’s cheek in his hand. He let his mouth fall open a bit and his eyes close.

Kyle smiled against his lips and moved his tongue into Payton's mouth. He left no part of his mouth untouched before pulling away. He left a string a spit hanging from the both of them. "See? That wasn't so bad?"

“Never said it was going to be bad.” Payton wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve, catching his breath. “My house or yours?” He asked, starting the car.

"I promised Lily I could come back again so yours, but I'll have to leave again. If you want you can wait for me at the cafe that we hung out in yesterday." Kyle smiled and got in the car.

“When are you leaving?” He asked, looking over his shoulder as he pulled away and out of the parking lot.

"Soon after I play with Lily for a little bit." Kyle sighed. "Hey, will you promise that we'll be together forever?"

"That's a pretty loaded question." Payton replied, focusing on driving. He didn't know how to answer though. He was overthinking it way too much. He felt stressed just thinking about college, let alone the next four years, marriage, kids?

"Please? I just want to know that nothing will happen to us so please can you promise me that." Kyle hugged his bag tight, wanting him to say yes.

"Yeah, we'll be together forever." Payton said with a smile, looking at the road ahead of him and panicking a little inside. What if something happens and we can't be together or what if I change my mind and don't want kids but he does? What if I fail college and I can't get a job and I'm dragging him down and he'd be better off without me?

Kyle grew a big smile. "Really?! You really mean it?!" he felt reassured and now he could actually be happy instead of pretending. " I love you so much!"

"I love you too." Payton reached over and squeezed his hand momentarily before returning to the wheel. He's happy. That's good. Everything is fine. I don't have to think about the future unless I want to. He reassured himself, only a couple minutes from his house.

He hummed happily on the way home. "Come on! I want to see Lily!

Payton parked the car and got out, letting out a little sigh. He watched as Lily ran out of the house and threw herself at Kyle, talking happily. She dragged him into the house, passing by Payton and taking his hand as well. He followed obediently in silence, still lost in thought.

"Lilly what are you so excited about?" Kyle chuckled. "Are you finally going to tell me who your crush is?"

Lily giggled, immediately turning shy. "Maayybbee~" She looked away from Kyle, hiding her face.

Payton smiled softly and left to their conversation, finding his mom in her room, working. "Anything?" He asked, realizing he hadn't even watched out for his uncle.

His mom shook her head, sighing. "No, just..I want you to drive to school as often as you can. Try not to stay in a really public place too long. Stay away from bars and popular restaurants." She told him, leaning over to give him a hug. "Don't worry about it, okay? I just want you to stay safe."

Kyle picked Lily up. "Mrs.Sanders, do you need any help cooking? I would also like to ask you something."

Payton pulled away from the hug and walked over to Kyle, leaning against him instead.

"I'm fine darling, but thank you. And stop with the formalities, just call me Jane." She laughed, ruffling Payton's hair as he walked away.

"O-Okay, then, Jane I have something I want to ask you, but Payton can't know about it." He whispered. "Lily, can you take Payton outside for me? I'll come right out when I'm finished okay?"

Lily nodded happily and took Payton's hand, dragging him towards the door.

Payton let her pull him around, wondering what Kyle wouldn't want to ask his mom so badly. Hopefully it's not about the future..

"So…I was wondering. You know that Payton and I are together right?" Kyle sat on the counter and looked down to Jane.
