Atlas nodded, listening. He thought for a moment longer. "Oh why not, I definitely need something different and new in this boring and predictable lifestyle, let's go." He answered with a bright smile. Finally something different, exciting, and fun. He was so ready for something of the sort.

Xeno carefully guided them to the outside edge of the crowd, and towards the door of a coffee shop. "Make your pick, I'll be paying." He told the other, demanding at least that much of them. He wore a kind smile, despite the mystery surrounding his words.

Atlas smiled following the man then holding the door for him. He still didn't know his name, but that wasn't much of a problem yet. He didn't mind as it was something out of the usual. "Are you sure?" He asked.

( !!!ALERT!!! I will not be able to roleplay from March 16 at 1:00 PM Central Time to April 6th at 7:30 Central Time because of school closings because of the Coronavirus. I'm truly sorry, let's have a good final hour together until then. -Sorrel )

"Of course I am. I am never unsure of myself." Xeno whispered, with words like honey. He glanced at the glowing menu above them both to decide what he wanted, and he already had an idea.

(Awe, that's too bad. I'll miss our RPs. But be safe and try to enjoy yourself during this strange time :)

Atlas nodded and followed him inside. "Okay, great! Literally I have no idea who you are so I might as well know your name at least, yeah?" He asked as he looked up at the menu as well. He didn't feel like much, he was in kind of a picky mood at the moment.

( Thanks, you too. <3 )

"Xeno Schrodinger." Xeno told the other, with words that would cut. His tongue was sharp, despite his smiling countenance's appearance. He decided on what he wanted, and expected the other to say what they wanted. Xeno knew he was in no rush, so he waited.

Atlas nodded. "I'm Atlas Fox." He replied with a smile. Looking up at the menu for a little longer, he finally decided and walked up to the counter, glancing back at Xeno. He ordered, and iced mocha and some sort of pastry. He smiled and moved to the side so Xeno could order.

"Chamomile coffee, ice it with whatever." Xeno demanded. It was extremely unusual, even for those in town that didn't seem to fit in that well. The barista nodded, and went to prepare everything for the two. "Atlas, hmm? Like a world map. Maybe that means something. Foxes are curious, too. Do you like to discover new things?" Xeno asked.

Deleted user

"Eh, not really. The only thing I somewhat discover is new melodies and lyrics for songs… even then that's not really discovering." Atlas explained. He smiled, watching the people behind the counter make their drinks. He glanced up at a clock on the wall, sighing slightly. "They can deal without me for a couple hours…"

"Oh. I'm taking your time up then?" Xeno asked. He had to bite his tongue from saying anything else coldly. "I guess I'll have to shorten what I wanted to say up." Xeno muttered. Within seconds, impossible seconds, their food came out. He thought about stopping time for them, but then shook his head at the thought as he got their meal. He couldn't expose himself, yet.

"Ah no, don't even worry about it. I'm their last resort anyway, enough people work there and I'm there on time every day. They can go for a couple of hours without me. Honestly, they probably wouldn't even notice." Atlas said, almost desperately. He needed something different from his regular routine and this was just the thing.

(This is my final reply! Be safe until I return! )

"Sure then." Xeno decided. He walked over to a table with two chairs, and sat down on his own side. He placed Atlas's goodies on his side of the table. "Why are you different?" He demanded to know.

Atlas smiled, following Xeno to the table. He took a sip of his coffee, listening to his question. It was a really good question but he didn't have an answer for it. He took another sip trying to come up with something. "I really don't know actually. I've always been different, but not this way so I really don't know. What about you?"
