Payton only snuggled closer to him, letting out a soft sigh. He shivered a little and curled under the blankets, slipping one of his legs between Kyle's.

Kyle chuckled and ran his hand up and down. "Payton~" he hummed in his ear. "I want to tell you something."

“Is it that I get to sleep more?” Payton grumbled, keeping his eyes closed.

"No, but it's about your birthday next week." Kyle smiled. "I know yow want to hear about your gift right?"

Payton hummed happily, blinking up at him, “Still too early for talking, but sure.” He murmured.

"It will take a long time to prepare. So, if I'm out for a long time. Just know why okay?" Kyle kissed his forehead. "Is it okay if I go now?" Kyle asked.

Payton rubbed his eyes and looked up at Kyle, pouting slightly. “Do you have to leave right now?” He asked quietly, clinging tight to him.

"I have to prepare. If I do it now then your gift will definitely be ready on time." Kyle explained. "I can stay for a little bit though." Kyle hummed and kissed his boyfriend. He ran his fingers up and down Payton's leg, drawing shapes.

“Stay for a little bit.” Payton repeated, leaning into the kiss and sighing softly at the touches. “At least until I’m awake.”

"Okay, okay I'll stay, only for a little bit though." Kyle kissed his neck and lips. "I'll have to get ready to go soon though okay?"

“Why can’t my present just be for you to cuddle with me all day?” Payton giggled, kissing him back happily and rolling over so he was laying on top of Kyle.

"Because you're special and you're worth more than that." Kyle rubbed his thighs. "Besides I Already paid for everything."

"You didn't spend a fortune, did you? It's not a big deal, it's just my birthday." Payton said between kisses, gazing down at him.

"No, no, nothing big and it's the day that you were born. We should celebrate that because without you being born and moving one house away from me I would be depressed." Kyle grinned and kissed him. "I would be not as openly gay without you,"

"If I wasn't born, you wouldn't even know I exist. And why does my presence make you more openly gay? Would you still be closeted if I didn't exist?" Payton laughed.

“Yes very much so. I would not have the confidence to kiss a guy in public without you.” Kyle pointed out.

"How do I have anything to do with you kissing a guy in public?" Payton asked, continuing to laugh and resting his head on Kyle's chest.

“Well, when you first stayed over at my house I kissed you…I couldn’t tell you that I kissed you, but now you know that you were my first kiss. Then I wanted to see if kissing other guys would make me feel the same way when I kissed you. It didn’t. Then I convinced myself that you would never like me that way so I tried to kiss other guys to forget that kiss. Didn’t work so I tried girls and guys and I was like nahhh guys are better and yeah.” Kyle chuckled.

Payton stared up at him in shock. "You kissed me while I was sleeping?! We've been dating for almost four months and now you decide to tell me that?" He laughed and hit his forehead on Kyle's chest, shaking his head a little.

“Well, I mean,” Kyle’s shrugged and started laughing. “I should get going. I need to contact some people. You better like your gift if you don’t I’m suing!” He yelled as he got up with his phone and started to get dressed. He texted his friends and none of them could help him. He hesitated before asking Rowan for help. Can you help me with Payton’s birthday gift? Do you know any of your friends or you who know how to play guitar? Kyle texted.

I think Tyler does, I can ask him! What are you planning? ;) Rowan replied.

Payton sighed sadly and curled up under the blankets. "Maybe i'll just stay here all day and cry because you left me." He pouted, hugging Kyle's pillow up to his chest.

He grinned at his phone. “Oh come on, unless you don’t want a gift at all and I personally would be very said if I couldn’t give the person I love a gift to show you how much I thank you for being in my life.”
I want to play a song for him. I already rented the park out for the both of us and I want to sing a song that shows him my love. Am I a sappy person for doing this?

"Fine, fine. Thank you for the mystery gift." Payton reached out for him. "One more hug before you leave?" He asked, flashing him a smile.

You sing??? Also that's sappy but it's adorable!! Tyler said he can play guitar btw

“You are very welcome.” Kyle wrapped Payton in a hug and kissed him goodbye. “Byeee, love you.” He left the room and went downstairs and out of the house.
Yes, I sing! Thx text me his number so I know where to meet him. Also tell him to bring his guitar if he didn’t get the hint already!

Payton sighed when Kyle left and picked up his phone, scrolling absentmindedly through Instagram.

As long as I need to at least me able to play the first verse. You can steal him he needs someone to be with since I’m not there with him.
