He laughed softly, and kissed her cheek. "Mhm. Alright." he repleid.
He laughed softly, and kissed her cheek. "Mhm. Alright." he repleid.
She smiled at him. ”I really gotta go. News bulletin Sophie will light up more than a Christmas tree in Times Square if I'm not back before 10.”
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Yikes. Alright. See you later."
She giggled and headed towards the door. ”I’ll see you around.” she promised. ”Take care of yourself.”
He followed her to the door, smiling softly. "Alright. You too."
She turned to face him and gave him one last kiss goodbye before grabbing her helmet.
He kissed her back softly, watching her go.
She waved at him and drove off, a little disappointed that she had to leave. But realistically, she knew she couldn't stay too long.
He waved back, closing the door and locking it once she was gone.
She smiled to herself at the memory of the great day she had… despite the unfortunate interruption involving his father. Jade shook her head, shaking that thought aside for now and refocused on driving.
Killian went over and cleaned up everything, taking a deep breath.
Jade sighed as she parked in her usual spot at the apartment building, almost dreading the upcoming conversation.
Killian took a deep breath and started getting ready for bed.
Jade carefully opened the door to her apartment and came face to face with her smirking roommate on the couch.
”So… How was he? I want all the details.” Sophie teased.
”Not gonna happen, Soph.” Jade shook her head. ”I actually had a strong migraine today, so I’m going to just go to bed.”
Killian read a book for a while, before going to bed.
Sophie frowned as she watched Jade for a moment, disappointed that she didn't say anything. ”How bad?” she asked since she had seen the motorcycle pull up to the garage.
Jade looked back at her friend. ”Brief nosebleed but I’m ok. I don't need to go to the hospital or anything, but I do need to sleep.”
Killian turned out the light, staring at the ceiling in the dark.
”Fine. Tell me in the morning.” Sophie sighed.
”Nope.” Jade smirked and closed her bedroom door, flopping onto her bed once she was close enough.
Killian folded his hands behind his head.
Jade sighed and crawled the rest of the way into her bed, closing her eyes once her head was on the pillow.
Killian sighed softly, closing his eyes.
(Time skip?)
(Sure. Do you want to or should I?)
(idc, whichever)
(I’ll do it. You did the last one.)
Jade was normally an early riser but today she let herself sleep in. Partly to avoid her roommate and partly because she was actually tired from the day before.
(alright!)
Killian was already up, and was in the middle of eating breakfast. He was, of course, busy planning out his next attack.
Jade groaned as she rolled over, still not ready to face Sophie's interrogation. It’s none of her business. I don't ask for that information from her dates, why is she so interested in mine?
Killian sighed, jotting down a note.
Jade forced herself out of bed and picked a clean outfit before heading to take a shower, needing to wake up a little more.
Killian kept working, doodling aimlessly.
Once she was dressed, Jade rewrapped the towel around her hair and headed to the kitchen to make some coffee.
