Almost toppled over by Hanaka, Mikazu stepped back and kept her now stiff hands to her sides. "Sorry. I'm Mikazu. Nice to meet and quest alongside you, hopefully!"
Almost toppled over by Hanaka, Mikazu stepped back and kept her now stiff hands to her sides. "Sorry. I'm Mikazu. Nice to meet and quest alongside you, hopefully!"
"Nice to meet you two. I'm Zaire, and anyone willing will do. Got any talents?" she said, giving the two a charming smile as she turned to face them in her chair. There was an awkward silence as she tapped her foot, waiting for the two to respond.
After nodding, Mikazu backs away into the crowd…only to appear behind Zaire, setting a light hand on her right shoulder. "We all have our own talents, don't we?" She walked out from behind her, waving awkwardly at Hanaka.
(May I join? This seems very cool)
(Go ahead! I think you'll be the last person accepted unless someone decides they wanna join in the next 2 hours lol)
Zaire jumped a little, turning to look at Mikazu.
"I suppose so," she said, voice a little shaky from the surprise she'd just gotten. "So. . . anything you'd like to know about the quest?"
"How'd you do that? That's incredible!" Hanaka took a small pouch out of her bag and opened it, revealing soil. She sprinkled some into her palm and touched it with her free hand. A small blue flower sprouted from the dirt. "I can control plants!"
Mikazu smiled. "Wow, that's impressive! I'm…sorry about that. I'm used to sneaking around, that's all." She touched a petal of the flower in awe.

Other: is good with puzzles and codes, likes colourful birds, sometimes scares people by sleeping in weird and random places.
(She's good to go but I'd like to ask you choose only one element for her to control!)
(Alright, lemme change that real quick)
(Done)
(Better, thanks!)
(How should I enter?)
(However you like. You can act like your character caught wind of our conversation, or maybe bumped into one of our characters and Zaire drags your character into the situation.)
"Plant control," Zaire repeated, "Considering I have a talent for earth control, your talent could be useful, and sneaking around is always a good ability!"
The gears in Zaire's head were turning quickly, almost too fast for her to keep up with. Unlike the last tavern she'd went to (which was just filled with normal humans) these people were proving to be great team assets.
Tiergan hears Zaire and joins the conversation. "I'd like to join the quest."
He steps over and cracks his knuckles absentmindedly. This would give him a chance to separate from his annoying companions. Taking in the faces of the others, he nods once more. "Yes. I will."
"Hello," Mikazu quipped. "And…who are you?" A hesitant smile was on her face.
"I am Tiergan." He glances at Zaire. "What's the problem?"
"Let's just say I got an anonymous request to retrieve some ancient crown," Zaire said, "And the fore-mentioned crown was last seen about, eh, 200 years ago. Recently rumors of its location have been popping up and it's sort of a race to figure out which of three locations it's at. So far, the signs point to the crown being in-"
Zaire is cut off by a drunk bumping into her and bewildered as she is, she continues speaking.
"I think I'll just lead you all there if you're up to it. I can't risk anybody overhearing my theory. If you'd all like to continue with me, there's a reward. It's much more handsome of a reward if we actually succeed in nabbing it, but it's also fine if we come back empty-handed and confirm there was no crown to be seen," she finishes her thought, absentmindedly picking at her fingers.
Hanaka was grinning nonstop. "Let's do it! I've never been on a quest before! It sounds exciting!"
Mikazu smiled, turning to Hanaka. "I haven't done such a thing, either… I'm a bit nervous, though…"
"We'll be fine," Zaire said, resting her hand on a table and leaning on it. "I believe we're competent enough to survive a little road trip. Might need to stop and grab supplies first though, seeing as it's about a week's journey."
"A week? That's…gonna be a while, but… I'll go." Mikazu was cautious, but she didn't want to upset her new–were they companions now?
"A whole week! That sounds amazing! I've got healing supplies already, so you don't have to spend your money on any."
"I uh, think we might want to pick up some preserved foods though? So we don't starve," Zaire said to Hanaka, a nervous smile crossing her face.
She began heading towards the exit, then turned back to the others.
"You all can wait here. I'll be back shortly, just need to pick something up."
"Okay…" Mikazu was standing close to Hanaka, only from the decision that she enjoyed her around.
Hanaka nodded. "Of course! Take your time!"
(is this still open to join?)
