As the night went on, both Brad and Caroline had unpacked their things and put them where they belonged. The apartment was beginning to look more and more livable the longer they were there. Brad came up behind her, scooping her up in a waist hug. "How's my favorite girl? Is she finished unpacking yet?"

She smiled " almost I have a few more things" she said

"Well, while you're doing that," Brad hummed, letting her go and sitting on the edge of the bed. "What are you thinking for dinner? I was gonna go to the store, so I thought I'd ask you first."

" if you get me the stuff I'll make fettuccine" she said

"I know how to cook, I can make something so you don't have to." Brad hummed, reaching his hand out to take hers. "I'm happy to cook."

" but I want to cook" she said

"Fine, we'll work out a schedule. I'll cook dinner tomorrow, you can cook tonight." He offered, pressing a kiss to the back of her hand. "You wanna come with me to the store?"

" no" she said "you're probably do something stupid with the carts"

"Oh come on, give me a little more credit than that." He smirked, standing back up to peck her lips. "I'll be back then, if you don't want to come. I'll need to borrow your car."

She reached into her pocket handing him her keys"don't scratch my baby"

"I won't hurt myself," He joked, taking the keys from her. "Oh, wait you weren't talking about me. I'll be careful."

She gave him a kiss on the cheek "pick up a couple of other things so we don't have to keep going to the store every night" she said

"That's why I was going now, just so we didn't have to order takeout." Brad hummed, pulling back from her. "Love you darling."

" I love you too" she said

Quickly heading out, he grabbed his own key, and phone before going out to her car with a smile. "Stay safe!"

She waved at him from the doorway

He smiled, waving back to her. Pulling out of the parking lot, he headed to the store with the radio humming low.

(You want someone (like Collins or Lily) to call, for the time being?)

Caroline closed the door going back inside

( Yeah sure)

As the door clicked closed, her phone started going off with a familiar ring tone.

She rushed to her phone on the counter and answered it " hello?" She asked

"Hey Caroline," The soft voice of Collins spoke. "Are you busy? I don't want to bug you if you are."

" no what's up" she asked

"I… I need advice…" He mumbled, kicking at the ground nervously. "But I also need your approval…"

" Lily " she said
