Wilhelm got up, stuffing his book into his bag and leaving the library, his shoes clicking just as much as ever with every step.

@GoblinKing

He crashed onto the bed, watching sunlight pour in through the window. Dust particles drifted through the sunbeams, and Wilhelm watched them in a quiet fascination as they floated through the room.

@GoblinKing

Wilhelm cracked the window, allowing fresh air to rush into the dorm. He laid back down and basked in the sunlight a bit, though it barely grazed him.

@GoblinKing

The sun was riding high in the sky, though it was slowly sinking into the horizon little by little. Surprisingly enough, Wilhelm didn’t feel all that tired.

@GoblinKing

Wilhelm began reading again, tired of staring at the wall blankly. Outside a few students were joking around loudly, being rather obnoxious.

@GoblinKing

Wilhelm kicked his shoes off, dropping them right next to his bed, never even looking up from his book until Connor came in.

@GoblinKing

He would’ve said something, but Connor seemed deep in his hook and he didn’t want to distract him. Instead he just continued to read his own book.

@GoblinKing

“I’m supposed to be reading Twelfth Night for class. It’s not too bad.” Wilhelm held up the book, showing off its simple hardcover.

@GoblinKing

“I guess so. I’ve never found myself able to reread books.” Wilhelm shrugged, rolling his neck. “They just aren’t as interesting the second time.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He stared at Wilhelm. "What? Bu' tha's…" he trailed off, shaking his head. "Tha's terrible! There're always new things in books the second time through!"

@GoblinKing

“I beg to differ. I take notes. I have impeccable attention to detail.” Wilhelm failed to mention that he almost exclusively read memoirs, nonfiction, and theory.

@GoblinKing

“Right. That’s me enjoying it. I find that I comprehend much better when I can mark text and make notes in the margins, you should try it sometime.”

@GoblinKing

“Then we simply have different reading styles, I suppose. Some of us like to mark the important bits for later reference, some.. remember them..?” Wilhelm was assuming that part, though he also knew that Connor probably read much more fiction than he did. Thus, wouldn’t exactly need to take notes.

@GoblinKing

“Relax, they’re just books. I won’t crucify you for reading your own weird way.” Wilhelm teased Connor, a tiny little grin on his face.
