Wilhelm snorted. "Of course not." He leaned back slightly, checking his wristwatch. They still had some time before class.

"Ah remember th' story well enough!" he retorted, shaking his head as the blush faded away.

"I have a hard time believing you, for some reason." Wilhelm leaned back on the table, shaking his head. He had a grin on his face like he knew exactly what he was doing.

He blushed again. "But…ah do too remember it!" He insisted, shaking his head again.

Wilhelm put his hands up in mock defeat. "Alright, alright. You've convinced me." He laughed softly.

He stuck his tongue out. "Good." He replied, taking a deep breath.

Wilhelm looked at the table, then back up at Connor. "So. This weekend. You're wanting to go into town, right?"

Connor looked up, and nodded. "Yeah. How do ah…do ah need ta apply for that, or what?"

"I think you just need to put your name on the roster. One of the history teachers has it, I'll show you after class."

"Alright. Thanks." he replied, shooting him a quick smile.

Wilhelm nodded, smiling as well. "Of course. I need to see if I've already signed up, otherwise I need to get that done as well."

Connor nodded, still smiling softly. "Alright." He replied, stretching.

(alright, no problem!)

"There's a little florist's place there. I might look in for a few minutes and just see what's new." Wilhelm sighed softly. "I don't know. It's the whole day, so at least I'll have time."

Connor nodded a little. "Mm. Ah'll need ta get a new sketchbook." he replied. His uncle gave him a tiny allowance each month; a pittance really, but it would be enough.

"Right, right." He nodded, checking his watch once more. He began to grab his bag, though stayed sitting. "There's a little shop that I think you might like."

Connor looked over. "Like what?" He asked, raising his eyebrows curiously.

"It's just a bookshop, but it sells nice journals and art supplies." Wilhelm responded. "There isn't an 'art shop' in town, per say, so that's about as close as you'll get."

He nodded. "Oh, alright. Thank you, Will."

Wilhelm nodded. "It's nothing. I can show you where it is when we go, if you'd like."

He nodded. "Yes please." He replied with a small smile.

He smiled back. "The shopkeepers are nice people, too. An old couple-" Wilhelm was cut off by the school bell that signaled it was time to get to class. "Ah."

Connor nodded a little bit, standing up and sighing. "Great. Class."

"You're more awake this time." Wilhelm pointed out. "Maybe it won't be as bad."

He shrugged. "Maybe. I doubt it."

"It's worth figuring out." Wilhelm stood up, pushing his chair in and rocking on his heels. "Should we go, then?"

He nodded a little bit. "Sure."

Wilhelm had caught up with Connor after the end of class. He looked a little disheveled, but he didn't look too ruffled up.

Connor looked over at him. "Yeh alright?" he asked, raising his eyebrows curiously.
