"I have a git feeling. My gay senses are tingling from her. I can feel the gayness coming off of her. Besides, she like me and I'm gay so therefor I can be her only friend if she's lesbian. I'm just saying when she does come out as lesbian you owe me 20 bucks."
“I won’t owe you shit. I never said she wasn’t going to be a lesbian.” Payton giggled, resting his head on Kyle’s shoulder. “I bet she’ll get her first crush soon though.”
"I think she'll say..'Is it okay to think that Ariana Grande is cute?'" he laughed. "It will happen."
“Yeah yeah, just eat your food.” Payton muttered with a soft laugh, kissing the top of his shoulder before sitting back up to eat.
“Okay, okay!” He held a grin on his face as he ate. “Feel really for this math test?” He asked.
Payton finished eating and turned to the side, wrapping his arms around Kyle. “Okay I guess. It won’t be that bad probably.” He sighed, clinging to his arm.
“See?” He stood up once the bell rang. “Let’s go.” He jerked his head to the door and started to walk.
Payton jerked back a little when Kyle stood up. He hurried to catch up with him and took his hand. “Why are you going so quickly? Don’t you love me?” He pouted.
“I do, but…” he saw his classroom. “I have to get to class…talk to you after school!” Kyle let go of Payton’s hand and ran to the room. He bit his lip hard and played with his hands. Calm down…deep breaths!
Payton frowned and watched him go. “Oh..okay..see you then.” he replied quietly, walking back to his locker and getting his stuff before walking to class.
The day went on and Kyle tried to avoid Payton as much as possible, while trying to act normal. Kyle walked up to his locker when the last bell rang. “Hey,” he smiled.
“Now you have the time to talk to me?” Payton turned to him, an eyebrow raised. He leaned against the lockers, arms crossed.
“I can explain okay, just can I do it when we’re at home?” Kyle bit his lip again which was already bleeding.
Payton nodded, looking a bit concerned now. “Let’s go. Stop biting your lip.” He added, handing Kyle a tissue and picking up his stuff before starting to walk.
Kyle took the tissue wiped the blood. He stayed silent as they walked to his house. Wondering if he should say something or not.
Payton walked with his hands in his pockets, wondering what he had done to deserve getting ignored all day.
They reached Kyle’s house and he looked up expectantly when they got inside.
“Okay…” Kyle sat down on the couch. “Sit.” He hit the spot in front of him.
Payton sighed and sat down, bringing his knee up to his chest and resting his chin on it. He had no idea what Kyle was going to say but he hoped they wouldn’t have to argue.
“Okay…I’ve been avoiding you because I can’t kiss you. I know you think it’s stupid, but when I say everything you do makes me want to pick you up and kiss you like no tomorrow I mean everything. The way you look at me. Your smile. Your laugh. When you want to hold my hand. When you act cute sometimes. When you hit my foot with your foot. Everything you do make me so out of control that’s why I’ve been chewing my lip all day. To distract myself from you.” Kyle confessed.
Payton’s mood slowly changed and he grinned, tilting his head slightly. “Aww that’s cute.” He giggled. “You did bring this upon yourself though.” He added, gazing at Kyle and smirking a bit. “What do you want me to do about this problem of yours?”
“N-Nothing. I deserve it. You don’t have to do anything to help. I’ll just figure it out…” he put his head down refusing to look at Payton.
Payton smiled gently and crawled forward, sitting himself down in Kyle’s lap and cupping his face with his hands. “You do deserve it, a little bit.” He said, leaning forward and pressing a kiss to his lips and cheek. “Don’t distance yourself from me, it’ll just make it worse.”
He turned his head. “You should not be sitting on my lap right now.”
Payton didn’t move, just wrapped his arms around Kyle. “But I haven’t hugged you in so long!” He protested, pressing another kiss to his jaw.
“D-Don’t kiss me like that…” he pushed his chest slightly. “You said that I shouldn’t kiss you and if you that I’ll loose control okay. It’s not funny it’s painful.”
“Then can you at least act like you love me?” Payton moved off his lap and looked down at his hands. “Just a little bit? I just want to hold your hand and kiss you when we both feel like it and not get ignored all day.”
“It’s hard to do that. I-I do love you, I swear, I just…you said not to kiss you so I’m trying not to. So please just work with me here. I don’t want to hurt you alright. I’m giving you space which you said you wanted.” Kyle held his arms.
“I don’t mind if you kiss me. If I say stop, then stop. I’m not that mad at you anymore. You don’t have to tiptoe around me anymore.” Payton said, looking up at Kyle.
Kyle looked at Payton. “Then can I kiss you now?” He took Payton’s hands in his. “I don’t want to force you or anything…I guess I’m just a little scared that I will hurt you and then you won’t be mine anymore and you won’t be with me…”
“Yes, you can kiss me.” Payton smiled, squeezing his hand. “And if you even get close to doing something I’m uncomfortable with, I’ll tell you, okay?” He reassured him. “And if I do something you don’t like, you’ll tell me.”
