"R-really?" He asked, feeling his heart ache slightly. "So it's like… nothing to you?"

" not exactly" she said

"Then where do I- we stand? People in general. Where do we stand in your circle of people that love you?" He asked her softly.

She shrugged " the people I love tend to disappoint me one day we'll all move on we won't know each other like we used to anymore well I'll just be a distant memory except for those couple people you decide to keep in your life" she said

With a slight nod, Brad ignored the hurt he was feeling. He hoped it wouldn't happen, that he would lose her. Every day the same thought would come back, she was over him. He wasn't about to loose her. "S-so, is Collins here?"

"I don't think so" she said

Half of him wanted him to be. He didn't want to think about the conversation they had just had. "You're sure you don't want to have me drive you there?" He asked softly, knowing the answer.

" I'll just go outside and wait for him" she said leaving the room

"O-oh… bye…" He called softly, feeling a little down now.

The week flew by, and all the bad feelings Brad had gotten from before were gone. He was in such a good mood, nothing was going to bring him down. He had a date planned with his girlfriend tonight. He was thrilled beyond measure, while he talked on the phone to her. "I can come pick you up in twenty, if you're ready." He told her.

Caroline had the phone pushed up to her ear with her shoulder "oh yeah that would work remember I'm back at your brothers" she said

"Yeah I know, it still doesn't feel quite safe to me though." He mentioned softly, pulling up to the red light. "I have to go pick something up, before I can pick you up anyways. You're wearing something fancy, right? I don't want to be over dressed," He told her, adjusting the jacket he was wearing over his white shirt.

" yeah" she said Caroline was wearing a black dress with the bottom layer being a palecolor and it had a pretty bow on the front of it she also had a pale colored leather jacket she had a bracelet with some kind of white stone in it and a ring she wore on her middle finger that had the same kind of stone and she had black laced heels

"Alright good." Brad hummed over the line with a bright smile. "Do you have a favorite flower?" He asked her, pulling up to the floral shop.

"black and white roses" she said

"Interesting, I haven't seen black roses before." He laughed, with a smile.

" There beautiful' she said

“Really? I’ll have to look out for them then gorgeous.” He smiled, holding the phone with his shoulder as he got out of the sleek black car.

She laughed " how should I wear my hair_ she asked

“Ask my brother, he’ll help you out if you need it.” Brad hummed with a smile. He was in the florist shop, looking for white roses.

" but I want to know what you want" she said

"I want it to be a surprise though!" He chirped through the phone line, picking up a flower bouquet and checking them out.

" ugh!" She groaned through the phone

"Come on, just ask Taylor, he knows what I like." He laughed at her groaning, and turned to the register to pay.
