Fenris shrugged again. "I wouldn't tell him that Loki is alive. He'll lose his mind." His eyes flicked to Luke. "I'm sorry but I have no idea who your parents are."
Fenris shrugged again. "I wouldn't tell him that Loki is alive. He'll lose his mind." His eyes flicked to Luke. "I'm sorry but I have no idea who your parents are."
“Yes, I’m pretty sure that he’ll lose his mind. . even more than he already has.” Her eyes flicked to the elevator. “I have no idea either, and honestly I wouldn’t care who his parents are.” She said with a slight shrug.
Coral exited the stairwell, heading towards the meeting room. She knew exactly where it was: she'd been there countless times before. She entered the room, and immediately saw Maria Hill and old Nick Fury. God, she didn't understand why he was still going.
"I care." Fenris said, turning back to Luke as they stepped into the elevator.
(I'm on a tramp so I wouldn't be able to respond until New Zealand time Friday.)
(Ah, alright.)
“That’s nice.” Azula said as she entered the elevator. Once everyone was in, she pressed the button that would take them to the fifth floor. The doors closed and the elevator started going up, bringing the three a lot closer to their destination. After a couple of moments, the elevator stopped and it’s doors opened. Azula stepped out and looked around. “Now, what room were we supposed to met in again?”
(ey, someone whose time zone is similar to mine! you're only like 3 hours ahead)
(There’s currently a 21 hour difference between Zephir’s time zone and my time zone. It’s literally Tuesday over there while It’s Monday here. ;-; )
"I think it's room 3?" Luke said, shrugging. "I wasn't paying much attention to the announcement." He grinned at the two of them. Neither of them seemed very daredevil-y, but what did he know about appearances? He moved from the elevator, giving the smallest sigh of relief as he did so. Having a mild case of claustriphobia was no fun, and he was doing his best to 'cure' himself of that fact.
“I think you might be right. I wasn’t paying much attention to the announcement either, but there was one part where I did listen. The part were it mentioned room three.” Azula responded with a nod. She walked down, looking at the numbers of the room. Finally, she found room three. “Well, this is it.”
(bumping because it's friday)
(Guess who's back!!??)
(You are!)
(Yes!)
(ok so i need you guys to get into the room. coral, hill and fury are already in there)
Ok)
Azula turned the knob and opened the door. She entered the room, and looked at the people who where inside. Well, more like she looked at Nick Fury and Maria Hill, not caring that Coral was also standing in the room. “So, what’s this all about?”
Fenris edged in behind Azula and gave Fury a quick wave before standing next to her silently.
Luke was the last one in. He pulled the door shut.
"Sit down," Fury said, then waited for the four of them to sit. "I'm sure that you are all confused as to why you are here. We are making a new team. As you all know, the Avengers are…aging. We need younger heroes. And you four are the first to be chosen. And no, you cannot back out of this. This isn't a choice."
"Hold on. Why me? Them I understand, but me?" Fenris glanced nervously at the others, biting his bottom lip.
Azula sighed and sat down. While Nick said his little speech, she frowned during the whole entire thing. “Hold on, what do you mean by we can’t back out of this? We should be able to back out of this if we don’t want to do this. Do we even get to call quits?”
"Nope. Here at S.H.I.E.L.D., you don't get your own rights until you hit 21. And all of your parents signed the contracts on your behalfs. The only one with a smidge of choice is Coral, since she already worked here."
Coral looked at her hands, not having wanted to be called on.
Fenris rubbed his eyes, "21? That's two years from now!" He folded his arms and leaned back. 'Someone is gonna get yelled at when I next see him' he thought. 'At least Azula and Luke are in the same boat'
Luke flinched. "No. Absolutely not. I don't care if she signed anything, I'm out. You can't make me do it." His fists were clenched, and the light in the room flickered slightly.
Fenris nodded in agreement with Luke but he didn't seem totally into it, like his mind was else where.
“Oh, hell no. There is no way I’m doing this. I don’t care if my father already signed the damn contract, but no one can make me do something I don’t want to do.” She crossed her arms and her eyes darkened, and so did the sky.
"Actually, we can. We will not hesitate to detain you. I hope you are all aware that we have power restrictors and cells, ones that you can't escape from. Coral should know that more than anything."
Azula was shocked. She had never been this shocked in her life before. Never had she met such people like them. Such evil people. “You people are monsters.”
Luke scowled. "So we have the option of being in a cage or being chained?" He looked furiously at them. "I would go for the cage. I will not work for you if it means that I'm forced to do so."
