“I don’t know who any of you are, but I know one thing. We need to find out how we got here, and who brought us here”.

Alex thought for a moment and put her hands in the pocket of her hoodie. She let out a sigh and brushed her hair, "Well that's not good."

"Do you guys… have anything that the government would send you here for?"
Chrissy rubbed her hands together nervously as she glanced around the group."

"Nope," Alex responded easily. The lie flowed off her tongue like a second nature.

Jojo blinked, groaning in pain. "Where the fuck am I?" She asked, eyes squinting in the bright sunlight.

"Don't know…" Chrissy walked around a bit, pacing nervously as the others started to fully wake.
"Have any of you heard from the cops where they were taking you?"

"I don't recall any cops," Alex continued to lie. She wanted to preserve herself especially with the reputation her family had.

Chrissy looked at Alex. "Really, who brought you here then? Surely you didn't come willingly?"
She held her hands careful behind her back.

"Can't say," Alex responded shoving her hands further into her pockets. She didn't want these strangers to know, not yet.

He started to stand up, as he walked around trying to find food. “So, do you guys know where I can find some food around here?” As he finished the sentence an exact clone of him appeared by his side. “Woah!” He said frightened

Chrissy tried to smile.
"What in the hell is going on?" she asked, after repeatedly failing to do so.

Alex looked to the two of that one guy. She shook her head rubbing at her arm, "I, I've never seen anything like that before."

“Me neither.” He said curiously. He walked into a broken down corner store, trying to at least find some food, if he could that is.

"So, can any of you remember anything? At all?"

Rue thought for a quick second, before shaking her head. “No I can’t remember anything, maybe besides my zoning out,” she replied.

Alex shrugged. She put her hand back in her pocket, "I don't know, do you?"

"I can't remember anything at all," Elaina said, having walked over to the others who were there. "Nothing that happened in the last few hours, no. Or the last day, really." She ran a hand through her hair, looking at the others around her for a few moments before going, "Oh! Sorry. I'm Elaina."

"I'm Chrissy." she glanced around. "I don't know why I'm here. Some people came to my house with some big laser thing. They pointed it at everyone. When it hit me, my body glowed. Then they took me."

He came back with some food, some of it could be bad, or good. “I got us some food. If anyone was hungry. Last thing I remember was some people taking my mother and my dog away, then I blacked out.”

"I'm Alex," she responded giving no more than her name. She shrugged, "And I don't remeber much to be honest."

“And the name’s Rue over here,” Rue said. “I don’t remember much from before, so I’m not much of a help here.”

Chrissy sighed.
"Thanks, (paperboi, wat ur name?). Do you think we should stick together?" she scanned the 6 other people, trying to get a feel for them.

“Do we know each other? No. Do we trust each other? No. Are we out here all alone, with no idea where we are and how we’re going to survive? Yes. So yes,” said Rue, proud with her logic.

Alex shrugged again and looked over to Rue, "First time someone's said something that makes sense. Anyone check to see if their phones are working? Mine was charging before I ended up out here so I don't have mine on me."

Chrissy pulled out her phone to find it crushed.
"Nope, mine's wrecked." She fumed.

Rue shook her head before answering. “The last time I saw mine, it was with my mom.”

"Love that," Alexa responded pursing her lips.
