Her eyes glew white then back to blue " my visions aren't working properly…unless" she looked at Evan and stood up " this is going to sound wierd but I need you to kiss me" she said

Evan’s face turned faintly pink because of his gently beating heart. ”O-ok.” he nodded, leaning towards her to kiss her.

Lysander bit his lip but didn't say or do anything to stop them.

Betty saw Lysander out of the corner of her eye but didn't move

Lysander was standing rigidly, clenching his fists behind his back as he wondered why Evan had to kiss her to make her visions work again.

Evan gently placed his lips against hers, intending to stop after a few seconds.

Betty kissed him back she had to get her visions to work at all means necessary

Lysander closed his eyes and turned away as the kiss lingered. He wasn't sure how much more he could take.

Evan slowly started to pull away from the kiss. ”Did that help?” he asked softly.

Her eyes glew yellow and her crystal blue and she blushed " I think so" she said and then glanced at lysander

Evan nodded, blushing a little as well. ”Cool. Great.” he smiled showing off his fangs slightly.

Betty smiled back at Evan her own fangs very much visible

Lysander chanced to look back at Betty, relieved that the kiss had ended.

Evan gave a small chuckle. ”So, you're an Oracle?”

" yeah…I know pretty dumb" she said

Evan shook his head. ”No. It's not dumb. I think it's pretty cool. You’re only the second Oracle I’ve ever met.” he smiled.

" of course I am" she said she stepped forward wiping his bottom lip free of lip gloss

”Oh. Thanks.” Evan blushed at her gesture. He chuckled a little. ”You know, you’re the only person who’s made blush like this in years.”

Betty giggled " I have that effect on people" she said

Evan chuckled. ”I believe that. You're an amazing woman.” he told her.

Lysander clenched his fists tighter, his knuckles turning whiter.

Betty smiled and looked down at the floor

”You are.” Evan said, tilting her head back up.

Lysander’s eyes darkened at how familiar Evan was acting. He remembered that his newly discovered brother had half his wife's heart in his chest but… that was just it. Betty was his wife.

Betty smiled her small smile at him

Evan blushed at that smile, loving how his heart sped up at the sight of it. Before he fully realized it he leaned in for another kiss.

Betty didn't realize he was leaning towards her

Lysander couldn't stop the warning growl that reverberated out of his chest.

Evan blinked and pulled back. ”What's the matter?”

”Nothing.”

Betty turned her head to look at Lysander

Evan walked over to his younger brother. ”Look, fréro, I know you don't really remember me. I made sure of it… It was for your own benefit that you didn't remember me.” he told him. ”But if you have a problem; just tell me.”

Tyler and Betty shared a look

“Is that a request from my long lost brother or an order from the King?” Lysander asked coldly.

Evan sighed at the tone, kinda used to people talking to him like that… Mainly vampires. ”Trust me on this, fréro, you’ll know when I’m talking to you as the King.”

Tyler looked at betty with a slight look of fear

Henry carefully walked over to Lysander and put his hands on Lysander's shoulders. ”With all due respect, sir. You two may have the same human parents, but I’ve known Ly for over three centuries.” he said calmly to Evan. ”If you’ll excuse us for a moment, we're going to talk outside.”

Evan shook his head. ”No, Henry. I appreciate you trying to help but I want him to tell me himself.”

Betty put her hand on Evan´s shoulder ¨Evan, Maybe you shouldnt…¨

Evan smiled softly at Betty and put his hand on top of hers. ”Don’t worry, princess. He won't hurt me.”

”Don’t bet on it.” Lysander hissed through clenched teeth.

”Ly, I swear, if you don't calm down… I’m going to throw you in the lake.” Henry warned.
