“Mornin’.” Danny stood up, walking over to the kitchen. He stood next to Alex, watching him cook with his head tilted. “How’re you feeling?”

“Mornin’.” Danny stood up, walking over to the kitchen. He stood next to Alex, watching him cook with his head tilted. “How’re you feeling?”
(lmaoo it's fine)
Alex jumped, startled, and looked up. "Oh. Hi." he greeted. "I'm…fine." after a moment, he said, "You keep a knife in your shoe."
“..Yep.” Danny shrugged nonchalantly, sticking his hands in his pockets. “It’s a cool one, too.”
He blinked slowly. "That's…not normal." He shrugged his shoulders, looking at the eggs again. "Also, you can eat eggs, right?"
“That’s.. super normal. I dunno if you remember, Alex, but Dog City fucking sucks, dude.” Danny chewed on his nails, nodding. “Yeah, I can eat ‘em.”
"I…" He shrugged his shoulders, then nodded. "Alright." He ran a hand through his hair. "Thanks, by the way. For… helping me last night."
“It’s no big deal, man. Just did what I’d want someone to do for me.” Danny looked at Alex quizzically. “Does your head not hurt, though? Or like.. anywhere? ‘Cause you fuckin’ faceplanted.”
He shrugged. "I'm used to it." He replied softly, going to the cabinet and taking a Tylenol, then going back to the eggs. He dished them out onto two plates, holding one out to Danny.
“Jesus dude, get checked for a TBI or some shit like that- thanks, man.” Danny took the plate. “Hey, who’s that Mrs Parker type? She’s scary as fuck, dude.”
He laughed. "She's some sort of magician or Fae or something." He shrugged slightly. "She's a sweetheart, though." He set his plate on the table, getting out forks and water, along with cheese, pepper, and salt for the eggs.
“Dude? She might kill me.” Danny stayed standing, picking up a fork. “She was implying some shit last night, and wow.”
"She's…protective." he said sheepishly, sitting down at the table. He smiled a little. "Why, what'd she say?"
“Protective? She’s a mama bear if I ever saw one.” Danny laughed, digging into his eggs. “I think she had it in her head that I was tryna like.. fuck you? Which I made it very clear that I was not- I have a boyfriend.” He added quickly, although he didn’t seem embarrassed at all. “Which.. didn’t change her mind whatsoever.”
He sighed. "Yeah. I've…made some bad choices with boyfriend's before. That's all." He shrugged his shoulders. "Keats, for instance, didn't give a shit if I wasn't conscious." His eyes flickered, and he looked down at his eggs.
“..Yeah, she mentioned that.” Danny had already nearly finished his eggs- the werewolf appetite of his tended to mean food didn’t last long. He went quiet.
"Yeah." He cleared his throat softly. "I uhm…I'm sure you have questions. About the curse, I mean. I'd…rather not talk about Keats anymore."
“No? Not really. Feel like I should, but I learned a fair bit when I was staring it down. It? I don’t know.” He shook his head. “Oh- there’s a question, yeah. Is that you or a whole new like.. guy?”
"Alright. Uh." He sighed. "It's not me. It's…it has my memories, but also its own. Like…it's not an alternate personality but still me, it's a completely different consciousness." He could only remember flashes of what had happened. He definitely remembered calling Danny "Daddy", though, which was… embarrassing.
“Okay, but it’s not like.. you? Do I refer to the thing as you or like.. ‘it’?” Danny tilted his head, tapping his fork on the plate absentmindedly. “Because I was called some… interesting things last night.”
"It." Alex replied, running a hand through his hair. "It isn't me." He swallowed, and blushed at that. "I uhm… remember one of those."
“Haaa, yeah. Alright, alright, that helps. Anyway- we both know what I’m talking about, I think, so let’s never bring that up again, yeah?”
He laughed. "Yeah, sounds like a good plan." He replied, running a hand through his hair. He was still blushing a little bit.
(Gtg soon)
(ok!)
Danny laughed a little, looking at Alex’s blush. “It’s not that big a deal, man, it’s alright. I’m not like.. mad or anything.”
"Alright, alright. It's just…a little embarrassing." He replied, shaking his head slightly.
“I guess that’s fair, yea.” Danny shrugged. “But hey, we’ve all said embarrassing shit before. One time, I think I was like.. god, I’d had to be around 17 or somethin’, ‘cause I had a fake ID, but I was tryna get in somewhere. Where doesn’t matter, but I ended up drinking way more than I should’ve.” Danny took a breath, shaking his head. “May have told the bouncer that kicked me out exactly how I wanted him to fuck me in way more detail than was ever necessary.” He could barely end his story without laughing, knowing fully well that that wasn’t the only time.
Alex laughed, shaking his head a little bit. "Yikes, dude." he chuckled, running a hand through his hair. "I'm…going to guess the bouncer did not take you up on that."
Danny laughed, finally sitting down. “You’d be right. Somethin’ about a drunk teenager just isn’t sexy, I guess?” He could barely hold back laughter, a dumb and toothy grin still on his face.
Alex chuckled. "Gee, I wonder why." He replied, shaking his head and laughing. "I remember you at 17, man. You were…a bit of an asshole." He snorted softly, chuckling.
“Oh, definitely. I hadn’t quit smokin’, either, so I constantly was either in nic’ withdrawals or sneakin’ for for a cig.” Danny rolled his eyes, thinking back on high school. “I dunno how I even graduated, honestly.”
"I don't know either." Alex replied with a laugh. "Considering I thought you were a dumbass." he shook his head again, looking over at Danny.
