It was a beautiful day, all the plant life flowing in the light breeze, the birds singing as they hopped about, and fluffy white clouds passed overhead.

Until…
The birds suddenly went silent, and a sharp kick in the wind sent them flying off. The breeze suddenly shook the grass and the leaves, ominously hinting what was about to come.
The clouds stirred, then parted, revealing a towering machine.
It hovered for a moment before sprouting a huge drill and three crab-like legs after a bellowing horn went off, it then drilled itself into the ground and distributed an unknown substance into the earth…

A silhouette appeared on the top of the machine, staring down at the earth below them, grinning widely…

Sakura finally finished with all the things her mother had wanted her to do, and turned to leave. "I'm going out for a bit!" She called over her shoulder. "Don't stay out too long!" Her mother shouted after her. "I won't, Mom." Sakura took off, flying toward where the noise had been coming from. After a few minutes of flying, she spotted a MudWing headed the same way as her. "You heard it to?" The brown dragon called. Sakura nodded in response. "What do you think it is?" She yelled back. The MudWing shook her head. "No idea, but I plan to find out." The two dragons shifted their gazes to the ground, trying to find anything that might help them in their search.

Anything that would help their search? Well, that absolutely ginormous doohickey in the distance might aid them.

The two dragons stopped and stared straight ahead at the silhouette of some ginormous thing in the distance. "Is that…?" Chikyu began, turning to her new RainWing companion, who nodded. "But now, we have to find out what it is." Chikyu nodded in agreement. "What's you're name by the way? I'm Chikyu." The RainWing smiled. "Name's Sakura. Let's go." She continued to fly towards the giant thing, but Chikyu paused when she heard something in the trees. She turned and stared at them. "Chikyu! Are you coming or what?" Sakura called. The MudWing turned away fro the trees and continued on with her new friend.

A SandWing peered through the leaves of the tree she had hidden in, sighing when the MudWing was gone. She turned to the SeaWing sitting by her side. "You ready for this Pan?" She asked. The SeaWing smirked. "You know it!" She replied, taking to the air, her SandWing friend close behind.

The figure atop the large, odd looking contraption looked their way. Only their brilliant raspberry eyes showed from the silhouette as they stared at the dragons ominously.

Sakura squinted at the silhouette. "Hey, Chikyu." She said "Hmm?" The MudWing replied "Look at the top of that thing. There's something there." Chikyu squinted. "You're right, but I think that might be a someone."
