Jade soon finished her own meal and brought her plate over as well.

Killian sighed, putting it in the dishwasher and letting out a breath.

Jade looked at him in gentle concern. ”Is something wrong?”

He shook his head. "nah. Just thinking."

”Oh? What about?” she asked curiously, raising a brow slightly.

"Nothing important."

”Now who’s not being any fun?” she teased lightly. ”Come on. Tell me.”

He stuck his tongue out. "Nothing." He said again.

She rolled her eyes and lightly slapped his shoulder. ”I’ll get you to open up to me someday.”

He chuckled. "Maybe."

”I’m sure I will.” she smiled.

He kissed her cheek.

She blushed at the kiss but smiled and kissed him back.

He smiled, looping an arm around her.

She giggled and nuzzled into his hold.

He held her gently, smiling.

She smiled up at him. ”I could almost stay here all day.”

Killian kissed her cheek again. "Mm."

”Wish I could.” she sighed.

He sighed too. "Mhm."

”Would you want me to stay?” she asked with a small smile.

He shrugged his shoulders. "If…if you want to."

”I don't really want to leave.” she admitted, holding him.

"I don't want you to either." he murmured.

She hummed and kissed his cheek. ”Then I’ll stay.”

"Alright." he said, holding her close.

She smiled and nuzzled into his gentle embrace.

He held her gently, closing his eyes.

She sighed happily and kissed his cheek.

He smiled at her.
