A sudden, but light, weight was added to Amethyst’s shoulder. It turned out that it had been quite some time, and Spinel had fallen asleep, now leaning on the Gem beside her, gripping Amethyst’s hand.

Amethyst smiled, wrapping an arm around the small gem leaning on her.

The little Gem smiled slightly before her face suddenly contorted with panic, whining as her posture shrunk.

She tilted her head to the side, confused as to what was wrong. her focus no longer on the fluffy demon boi.

Spinel was quietly mumbling something to herself, something along the lines of; “Don’t go, please…Steven? Amethyst??” She was curling up with worry, her hair drooping sadly as she silently called for her friends.
