Betty look down at Laura Beth rubbing her thumb gently up and down her arm "I have a daughter" she said looking up at Lysander" we have a daughter"

Lysander smiled and sat back in the chair beside her bed. ”Yes. We do.” he could not get rid of the tender smile as he looked at his wife and daughter.

”Congrats, you guys.” Henry smiled at the new family.

She smiled nuzzling her nose into her daughter's cheek

Laura-Beth gave a small noise at the touch, still not used to feeling.

”She’s beautiful.” Charles smiled softly.

"thanks Dad" she said with a smile

Charles gently placed his hand on her shoulder.

”Are you tired?” Lysander asked, gently.

"she just gave birth"Tyler said from the door

" Dadda'" Asher yelled halfway running towards Henry

”I was there.” Lysander replied. ”And I remember you were pretty tired after Asher was born.”

Henry smiled and scooped up his practically adopted son. ”Hey, little buddy. You been a good boy for mama?”

" your mommy and daddy love you so much baby girl" she cooked into her daughter's ear.

”Yes, we do.” Lysander smiled, leaning closer to his family. ”And I love you, Betty.”

Laura-Beth was breathing cutely as she started to fall asleep against her mother.

Betty smiled at her daughter as tears started to roll down her cheeks onto her hair and she quickly wipe them away

Lysander leaned over and kissed both his girls on their foreheads.

A doctor walked in and he forgot to close the door gently so it slammed behind him

Laura-Beth immediately started crying at the loud sound.

All three vampires turned to the careless doctor and glared intimidatingly at him.

Betty held her daughter close to her chest " shh baby shh" she said in the doctor looked at then with a fake apologetic smile

None of the men trusted that smile.

Henry carefully put down Asher. ”Go and stay with your mama for a while, alright buddy.” he instructed softly.

Lysander and Charles stood near Betty. Maybe it was just because of the baby or Betty being tired from giving birth but both her husband and her father were ready to protect her if this doctor was up to no good.

"Benjamin!?"both Tyler and Betty said

”You know this man?” Charles asked a little coldly.

Henry had a bad feeling about this.

"Asher can you go to Aunt Betty for me" Tyler asked

Asher and abetting and she wrapped her arm around him

"Tyler won't let me see my son so why don't I just take myself a daughter then" he said

Henry stiffened as his suspicion was confirmed and stood defensively in front of the bed.

Lysander snarled at him with red-eyes as he slammed Benjamin against the wall. ”Why don't I just drain you until you die of blood loss?”

Betty help both the kids close to her having Laura Beth over her shoulder petting her hair

"Why don't I take your wife to?" She said

Laura-Beth was still whimpering though the petting was helping.

Lysander strengthened his grip around the man’s neck as his hands heated up strongly. ”I could easily break your neck for just thinking about that.” he said.

She kissed her daughter's cheek

Henry never took his eyes off the would-be kidnapper. ”Bets, Tyler, it'll be ok. I just don't think you or the kids should see or hear this.” he said before casting an illusion of wall behind him to shield the two mothers and their kids.

Betty started hyperventilating you cannot put an illusion on Oracle who just had birth it gives her breathing problems forehand stopped petting her daughter's hair and her grip loose in both the kids

Charles turned to Henry sharply. ”Drop your illusion.” he said sternly.

Henry let the wall disappear, mostly out of surprise and a little intimated.

Charles nodded at him before looking at Betty. ”Are you alright?” he asked in concern.

"Dad I need you to take the kids" she said black veins starting to grow on her body

Charles nodded and very gently picked up the children. ”It’ll be alright, Elizabeth.” he told her.

Henry was shocked as he saw the veins show up. ”I’m sorry, Betty.”
