“What do you think is is, dear? They’re engagement rings.” He said, taking the ring and placing it on his finger. “Will you officially marry me?”

"Oh!" Nathaniel flushed and looked down at V. "Shit, I… wasn't expecting this so early in the morning. I forgot our engagement was a tad informal. Of course I'll marry you, V. I love you to bits." He hugged V tightly, grinning.

V laughed and hugged Nathaniel close, standing up so that he wouldn’t fall backward. “I love you too, Nathaniel.” He smiled sweetly and pressed a kiss to his head “sorry I asked so early, I just couldn’t wait.”

"Mm…" Nathaniel got up out of bed to move closer to V, purring softly again. "I'm glad it's finally official… where did you get the rings?"

He laughed softly and wrapped Nathaniel’s legs around his waist. “I bought them a few months ago. I was going to ask but I just got so nervous and then the incident with Jerch happened.”

"Ah… makes sense." He kissed V softly and lay his head on the other's shoulder. "Well, I'm glad you finally officially asked. Love you."

“Me too darling, I love you too.” He kissed his head and brought him to the kitchen, setting him down on the counter as he stirred the chocolate on the stove

Nathaniel flirted his wings for a second before folding them, cocking his head slightly to the side while he watched V stir the pot. "What are you making, love?"

"I promised you dessert yesterday but we fell asleep before we could even eat so i figured this would make up for it, at least until dinner tonight." he replied, turning off the stove and finding mugs in the cabinet

"Ah, that makes sense. Sounds good to me." Nathaniel grinned. "Is it hot chocolate?" He asked.

V nodded and poured a some into the cup, dusted it with cinnamon and passed it to Nathaniel while he made for himself. There's some bagels if you want some." he said, leaning against the counter next to him

Nathaniel nodded and eagerly started drinking his hot chocolate. "Sugarrrr~" He trilled happily, his wings now fluttering.

V laughed softly and took a sip of his own drink. "adorable creature," he cooed with a smile, brushing his good wing against Nathaniel's

Nathaniel stuck his tongue out playfully and continued drinking his hot chocolate. It was still very hot, which was obviously very frustrating because he just wanted to chug it.

He pressed a kiss to his cheek and went back to the living room. V had already eaten breakfast early in the morning, his excitement making him hungry. He curled up on the couch with a blanket and started to worked on his laptop

Nathaniel slid off the counter and followed him over, huddling up next to him on the couch when he got there. "Mind if I join you?"

He glanced down at him and smiled, pulling Nathaniel into his lap. "Not at all my love." he kissed his head and rested hos chin on his shoulder

Nathaniel trilled happily and huddled close to V. "I love you~" He purred, wrapping his wings around the two of them.

he laughed softly and nuzzled against Nathaniel, cheek brushing up against his wings "I love you too my darling angel, more than I could ever put to words or action." he murmured, tilting his head up and pressing a tender kiss to his lips.

Nathaniel returned the kisses eagerly before he rested his head on V's shoulder so he could watch what the other was doing on the computer.

V nestled his head against Nathaniel's as he worked, scrolling through multiple pages in search of wedding attire and honeymoon places that weren't too expensive.

Nathaniel watched curiously, occasionally pointing out things that looked interesting, but otherwise staying mostly quiet.

V made note of the things they likes on a separate page and then went back to researching, at one point shifting so that Nathaniel and the laptop were on top of him.

Nathaniel kept watching the process until he inevitably got bored and just started smothering V in small kisses.

V laughed softly and tilted his face to see the screen, eventually giving up and setting it aside so he could focus on Nathaniel. "is this your way of telling me to pay attention to you now?" he laughed and cupped his cheek, bumping his nose against the other's. "I'm all yours then, darling."

Nathaniel grinned cheekily and kept kissing V, glad to have the other's undivided attention now. He could only sit still for so long, especially when he'd been given sugar. He fluttered his wings a bit happily, pressing himself closer to V.

V hummed softly into the kisses, slipping his hand beneath Nathaniel's shirt and resting it on his lower back. He hugged Nathaniel close, giving into the affection and sweet little kisses

Nathaniel's eagerness slowly softened as the sugar faded from his blood, but he didn't cease the affection. He just became calmer and softer, happy to just be held by the one he loved.

V smiled and traced his lips gently, laughing softly as Nathaniel calmed down a bit "feeling better that you've had some love?" he asked, pressing a soft kiss to his lips

"Mhmm… you know how I love attention, darling…" Nathaniel purred softly and closed his eyes, melting into V's gentle touch.
