"Oo, the ball! There's one every year," Arien explained. "Almost everyone goes. Vampires, werewolves, witches, demons. It's just one giant party, where you can catch up with friends who live off-world! There are a lot of humans too." Arien grinned. "It's a lot of fun! We all get dressed up, and then the ceremonial ball dance. After that, it pretty much dissolves into utter, beautiful chaos."
Dan nodded and smiled at Arien's excitement. "So when is it?" he asked softly. It sounded quite fun overall.
"A couple days!" Arien said. he was very excited for the ball.
"Cool, you seem really excited about it." Dan said and laughed a bit.
Arien giggled a little.
"Yeah, I am. I wanna introduce you to my other friends!" He gave Dan another hug.
"Do you want to go?"
Dan hugged back, "Yeah, I'd love to come." he nodded.
Arien grinned.
"Great! Do you have something to wear?"
"Maybe? I'm not sure." Dan said and though.
"Hm… well, it's pretty formal. If you don't, I'd be more than willing to go shopping with you for something." Arien smiled sweetly.
"I'll have to look then I'll tell you." Dan said and hugged him.
Arien hugged Dan back.
"Okay then." He smiled. "Though I'm sure you'll look good in anything."
"Ha, maybe." Dan said and blushed a bit then looked out the window.
It was already dark out, but Arien still handed asked to feed.
"I know you do. You look very handsome right now," Arien said.
"And I'm just in my work uniform." Dan said and laughed.
"You can make anything look good," Arien said. He hugged Dan again, grinning. "Even if you weren't in anything at all~" he whispered into Dan's ear before pulling away.
Dan was completely red from blushed and just stared before hiding his face in embarrassment.
Arien chuckled softly, holding Dan close. He rubbed Dan's back a little.
"What, weren't expecting that?" he purred quietly.
"No, wasn't expecting it." Dan mumbled. He felt relaxed against Arien, he trusted him.
"Well, I say it's true," Arien said. He could tell Dan trusted him, and it made him happy. He nuzzled Dan's hair lightly with his nose. "Even if I've never seen it before."
"Ok, but how would you know if you've never seen it before. You can't really say it's true, only believe it it." He said softly.
"Well, then I believe it whole-heartedly." Arien ran his fingers through Dan's hair.
"Because you're so very, very handsome." He hesitated a moment, then kissed Dan's forehead lightly.
"Thanks… I think you're quite handsome too." Dan said and looked up at him.
Arien blushed a little bit now.
"Thank you," he said. He kissed Dan's forehead again, just wanting to shower him in affection.
Dan lightly kissed Arien's cheek.
Arien grinned, kissing Dan's nose. Not knowing if Dan would be upset if he kissed him on the lips, he didn't. Not yet.
Dan smiled and kissed Arien's cheek again.
Arien let out a happy sound, pulling Dan a little closer.
"Screw it," he said softly, and his kissed Dan on the lips. It was light, and he pulled away after a moment.
Dan smiled softly at him then pulled Arien close and kissed him on the lips momentarily.
Arien smiled, one hand going up to Dan's head. He held him close, kissing him for longer.
"I…" he said when he pulled away. "I think I love you."
Dan looked at him and nodded, "I think I love you too."
