He shrugged. "No. You've had a lot going on, Jade. It's not your fault."
He shrugged. "No. You've had a lot going on, Jade. It's not your fault."
Jade bit her lip and nodded, knowing what he was referring to. ”Can’t really argue there.” she murmured reluctantly. ”I don't always catch everything, even before…”
He sighed softly. "Jade. It'll be fine."
Jade chuckled a little. "Shouldn't I be telling you that?" she asked looking up at him. "I'll be alright. I'm more concerned about you."
Killian laughed a little. "He doesn't know where I live. I'll be fine."
Jade nodded. "I think you mentioned that." she smiled a little at him.
He nodded a little. "Yeah. I did."
Jade smiled a little. ”And you have your magic barriers, right?” she asked, vaguely remembering him mentioning something along those lines when she first visited.
He nodded again. "Yeah." He replied softly. "Those wouldn't let him in."
”Good.” she sighed softly in relief. ”It sounds like you've got a good handle on personal security.”
"Yeah. For now." He replied, running a hand through her hair absently.
Jade sighed at the gesture, actually enjoying the touch. ”If you ever need any help with this, you can always call me.” she told him.
He nodded. "I shouldn't, though. You're supposed to be my enemy."
Jade shook her head. ”Right now I’m your friend and I want you to call me if you need any help.” she said firmly but kindly.
He chuckled a little bit. "Unless it involves robbing a bank."
Jade laughed softly. ”Yeah, except for that.” she smiled.
He smiled back.
Jade looked up at him, slowly starting to let him go from the hug.
Killian released her, taking a deep breath.
Jade slowly took a step back, sliding her hands down to hold his.
Killian looked down at their hands, then at her, expression unreadable.
Jade blushed at the look but didn't let go yet.
He bit his lip a little bit.
Jade didn't really know what to do right now. On one hand, she was debating if she should leave but… She was starting to feel a little tired, as she held back a yawn.
Killian smiled a little. "Tired?"
Jade blushed slightly and shrugged. ”Maybe a little.” she admitted.
Killian chuckled softly. "Ah."
”Do you want me to leave?” Jade asked, willing to stay longer if he still needed her.
Killian shook his head a little. "No, uhm…you can stay, if you want."
Jade smiled gratefully and nodded. ”Ok. I think I would like that… If you don't mind.” she blushed a little.
