Killian inhaled, standing and opening the door. His eyes were grey, distant and removed of any and all color. He let her inside, closing the door silently.
Killian inhaled, standing and opening the door. His eyes were grey, distant and removed of any and all color. He let her inside, closing the door silently.
Once the door was closed behind her, Jade wrapped her arms around Killian. Offering all the comfort she could right now.
Killian froze for a moment, then returned the hug, taking a deep breath.
Jade smiled faintly as he hugged her. She opened her mouth slightly, wanting to say something but the words escaped her. She sighed a little and just continued to hold him.
Killian swallowed, closing his eyes.
”It’s ok.” Jade whispered. ”I won't judge.” she promised, closing her eyes.
He buried his face in her hair, shaking just a little bit.
She reached up and gently began stroking his hair in a soothing gesture. It was something her own mother had done for her, when she was younger mostly but it still helped. ”It’s alright, Killian. I’m here for you.”
And then he started to cry a little bit, holding onto her.
Jade sighed a little in relief at his actions. ”That’s it. Go ahead and let it out.” she encouraged, continuing her actions.
Killian held onto her, shaking and crying softly. He wished he wouldn't. But at the thought of his father again, even though he was in his 20s now and his father was older…he couldn't handle that.
Jade continued to hold him as he cried. She knew he needed this. He couldn't hold all of these negative emotions in. He shouldn't have to. The young woman was willing to stay with him as long as he needed her. Whether that was just until he stopped crying or all night if that's what he needed.
He held onto her still, his tears nearly silent as he cried. He wished he could stop. Wished she didn't have to see him like this.
Jade didn't care how long he needed to cry. He had already seen her at her worst when she broke down after being attacked and he had seen the drawbacks of her power. She wouldn't judge him for crying. She would never use any of this against him.
After he while, he stopped, taking a deep, shaky breath. "Sorry." He whispered, still holding onto her.
”Don’t be.” She shook her head, still holding him. ”It’s alright.”
He sighed softly. "Thank you."
”It’s ok.” Jade assured him. ”I don't mind.”
He nodded a little bit. "Alright." He said softly.
”Feeling any better?” she asked softly, not letting go yet.
He nodded. "Yeah. Thank you." His voice was quiet.
”You’re welcome. I’m glad to help you.” Jade nodded.
He nodded again. "Alright."
”It’ll be ok.” Jade told him. ”I’m here.”
He shrugged his shoulders, holding onto her.
Jade nuzzled closer into the hug.
Killian held her, leaning his head on hers.
She smiled a little at the gesture. ”If you want me to, I can help track him and have him thrown back in jail.” she offered. ”He’ll get more time for breaking out.”
He shrugged a little bit. "I don't…" he shook his head a little. I don't want you anywhere near him.
”It’s ok. I'll be careful.” she told him. ”I’ve dealt with people like him before… Well, not really abusive people but I’ve dealt with aggressive people who broke out of jail.”
