Michi stepped into the hotel, hood pulled up over her head. She stood back, waiting for the counter to be free.
Michi stepped into the hotel, hood pulled up over her head. She stood back, waiting for the counter to be free.
Kari smiled, taking it before running off by herself.
Josh smiled then called out to the hooded figure "Hello ma'am how could I help you today
"Are there any rooms avaliable?" Michi asked, stepping up to the counter.
Joshua nodded and pulled out another card after typing into his desktop "First floor ma'am" he told her with a smile
Ember was now at the lobby bar fixing herself a drink as Tempest tried to swipe a drink she slapped his hand away. He chuckled and noted the other guest "Alright another person!"
"Thanks," Michi said. She took her card, heading up to her room to drop off her bag before coming back down.
Kari hiked the stairs quickly, dropped her things off, and decided to explore the hotel by herself. It would be an interesting experience.
Em asked Temp to go check on the pool so he left the main lobby to go check the pool's colarine level
Michi made her way towards the bar, pulling her ID out. She was quite literally ancient, but she looked 16. It was a pain in the butt trying to get a drink at most places.
Ember like looked from Michi, then to the ID then chuckled. "I'm gonna trust you on this. You're not the first ancient one I've seen miss. They always seem to get a bit pissed when they're denied service so….what can I get you?"
Matthias pulled his suitcase behind him and walked up to the desk. He ran a hand through his hair and smiled. He went here on a whim and so far was pleased with the result. "Hi, do you happen to have any rooms available?" Matthias asked the desk attendant.
"why of course" Joshua responded to the newest guest and once again the typing commences. He then pulled out a third card from under the front desk "room 3 first floor. Please enjoy your stay sir."
"Sake, please." Michi sat down, putting her ID away gratefully.
Ember prepared this like she had countless times and quite quickly she slid the drink over "here you are."
"Thanks." Michi accepted the simple drink, taking a small sip and relaxing a little. No one had recognized her, or if they had they didn't say anything.
" Thank you," Matthias replied taking the card from him. He made his way to his room admiring everything around him. He unlocked his room and set down his things. He decided to head back to the lobby and mingle with a few other guests that were there. He saw a couple of people talking at the bar, so he walked that way. Matthias plopped on the stool next to another guest.
Michi glanced over when someone say down next to her, pulling her hood farther down her head so he wouldn't be able to see her face. Honestly, she didn't need anyone recognizing her.
Matthias waved at the girl. Matthias noticed that she turned slightly away from him. Matthias pulled out his journal and a pencil. He decided to draw the lobby desk and the attendant. He liked drawing, but he didn't think he was very good at it. Others did, so maybe it was just his own insecurities. Of course, since he was underage he couldn't order any drinks with alcohol, so he decided he would order a cherry coke.
Ember slid the drink to Matthias started to wipe down some dusty cups after that. Tempest came back into the lobby, got a towel and left the lobby once more
Michi, unable to help herself, waved back at the man sitting next to her. She took another drink of her sake, humming one of her songs under her breath. It was an extremely popular one, too
Kari saw multiple people at the bar, and sighed. The place seemed empty besides them. With a frown, she walked over to one of the couches, and plopped down flipping through a lined notebook to find a blank page.
Josh hit a key on his keyboard and a pleasant elevator type tune started to play in the lobby. Tempest walked back in and seemed to stay in the lobby this time as he turned on a simple marble fountain that changed water color once Tempest fiddled with it a bit (https://www.soundtrap.com/play/V5XbiTThQIqDeIkm6jIqEQ/elevator-music/)
Matthias took a sip of his drink. He was almost finished with his sketch. He wasn't extremely proud of it, but it wasn't his worst. He set his journal on the counter and let out a sigh. He took a moment to look around the place. The girl next to him was faintly humming a melody to a song. He thought he had recognized it, but he wasn't sure. Even without her singing, he could tell she had a pretty voice. Matthias swirled the straw around in his glass and made a mental note to bring his camera down at some point.
