Shiro sighed as he looked at the black lion missing the days when he flew it "I miss ya buddy"

Lance walked up behind him, smiling at his friend for a moment before noticing the melancholy mood. “Hey, whatcha doing, Shiro?” he asked.

Shiro looked at Lance a little downwardly because of his height "Talking with the lion why?"

“I was just feeling bored,” Lance admitted. “Playing video games by yourself can get old after a little while, so I decided to go hang out with someone.”

Shiro smiled at Lance and nodded looking away then started to head off to the head of the castle they had been traveling for a while now hoping to find some signs of life besides Galra in the outer reaches of the universe

Lance shrugged and followed him, because he was tired of being alone. He didn’t want to burden anyone though, and despite his attempt at getting Shiro to hang out with him, he felt a bit like a burden. He smiled anyway. It’d be fine.

Shiro looked back at Lance smiling as he reached out his hand “you coming Lance?”

Lance's face lit up at his name, secretly relieved. "Yeah, I'm coming," he said with a grin, following Shiro.

Shiro could tell Lance hadn't been feeling all to well but he just needed company "If I knew any better I would say Keith was rubbing off on you" a chuckle came from the paladin as he walked and kept Lance company

"What?!" Lance exclaimed, narrowing his eyes. "Keith is not rubbing off on me! I don't even like Keith!" He folded his arms across his chest stubbornly.

Shiro chuckled "You sure act like it but I won't say anything else on that topic. Pidge might however" he had thought of when he and Adam had first met a small smile on his face

"What is that supposed to mean?" Lance demanded, almost comically annoyed. "Have you and Pidge been talking to each other about me and that weirdo?"

Keith luckily wasn't within hearing distance, otherwise he probably would have spat something in return. Lance was quite the annoying character at times. Okay, a lot. The male rolled his eyes just thinking about the other Paladin.

Shiro finally reached the hull of the ship Lance in tow almost running into Allura "Princess" he gave a kurt bow and went on

Allura smiled at Shiro "Hello Shiro" then walked off past Lance but greeted him as she passed "Hello Lance. would you like to come with me to check on Hunk and Pidge?"

Lance beamed. “Yes! Let’s go!” He was happy to go anywhere with Allura.

Keith popped his knuckles as he stood to his feet. He was often fine on his own, but he supposed it wouldn't hurt to socialize a bit with the others. Perhaps Shiro was still around somewhere. If not, he might as well find Allura to activate the Castle's training hall. Sticking his hands in his pockets, Keith exited his room, eager to find something interesting to do.

Allura looked around the castle but both the green and yellow lions were gone "They must be out training. How about we go to the training room see if we can work on some new moves?" She had been looking at Lance

Shiro popped his head out of the hall them slowly came out and went to look for Keith

Not seeing Shiro anywhere, Keith decided it would be best to head down to the training hall and check there. Even if the other wasn't practicing, it would give himself the chance to challenge himself.

“Sure,” Lance agreed with a smile. Just he and Allura by themselves! Score! But maybe Keith would be there? But not because Lance wanted to see him; he obviously wanted to kick his sorry ass.

Allura had opened the door to the training room and gestured for Lance to enter with a sweeping bow

Shiro called out for Keith but after a while he just commed his "Hey Keith you there"
