He tried to push down the smile he felt coming onto his lips. Trying to push away the lovely feeling she gave him. But she was making it so hard. "You better."

Ravenna turn herr head away to hide the rosy tint in her cheeks. she didn't blush she never blushed there was never anyone who can make her blush

Viktor felt his heart beating hard. Strange for him, he always ever wondered if he actually had one. But once he saw her, he knew he did. He couldn't, and wouldn't admit it, but he think he had fallen for an angle.

Ravenna turn her head back biting her lip as she fidgeted with her hand and tried it to deny how bad she wanted her hand in his again

"Hold your breath." He said softly pushing the door open to his father's lair with a grimace on his face.

" awh raven finally-" the devil started

" One I'm not a bird just because I have wings two only my friends can call me that" she said.

" Oh my sweet angel you're in hell any friends you had are gone you can bet no one here is going to want to be your friend sweetheart" she said

Viktor let go of her arm and walked over to the wall to stand and wait. Unless his father dismissed him, he wasn't going to risk getting beaten again. At his last words, he bit his lip nervously glancing at her. Ravenna. He hoped she wouldn't say anything to get him in trouble…

Ravennas eyes softened "you're right I am in hell and just because my wings are different than yours or I don't have pair of things in my mouth you all have to treat me differently because I'm an outcast right a loner l here for your benefit and you're right I'll never have friends down here cuz I'm here to serve" she said.

Viktor stopped and memorized every word she had just said. He was captured by her every movement, her every breath. He couldn't help himself. She was enthralling, and he melted when he dared to look at her.

"so tell me Satan what's the point in living if I have nothing no one you on the other hand have a beautiful wife a cute daughter and a very intelligent son who just wants his dad's approval you have things to lose I don't that's the difference between you and me" she said taking a few steps forward

'No! No, no, no. no!' He panicked when she mentioned him. It didn't matter what she said, it mattered that she talked about him. He looked away, hoping to pretend he hadn't heard her. Pretend he didn't exist. Maybe his father would ignore him too?

The devil sighed " victor…your not in trouble but I would suggest you leave" he said sending death glares at Ravenna who was smirking

He nodded lightly, feeling sick to his stomach. He walked out the door, and once it was shut, bolted off towards his quarters.

As soon as Victor left the room the devil did something putting Ravenna in excruciating pain and she let out a scream which echo through the walls.

Viktor could hear it, but he was too busy running. He knew he should go back- but he couldn't make himself. He was too much if a coward. Running into his room, he slammed his door and dropped to the floor.

The devil saw her greatest fears and made that reality I was appearing in her hand as her eyes widen

"I'm such a wimp!" He yelled at himself, throwing something against the wall. "Come on Viktor, you have to go back. You gotta." He demanded himself looking at his reflection. "Why is this so hard!?"

The devil left the room. Ravenna in a pool of her own blood everywhere was slashed she was beaten up pretty bad

Viktor heard the screaming stop, and he made himself leave to go see her. "I can't believe I just did that." He told himself horrified at his fear to protect her. "I'm a monster.." He whispered as he made his way to where he had left Ravenna.

Ravenna laid there heavily breathing still awake fortunately although she couldn't see out of her left eye

He pushed the door open silently, and felt himself stop functioning. He, in very articulated movements, made his way over to her and bent down. "R-Ravenna?"

Ravenna shifted her eyes to him not a single word leaving her mouth she smiled gently but immediately Winced from the pain

"Hey, don't do that. I need to get you cleaned up." He said softly petting her head. "I'll be back."

She nodded closing her eyes for once in her life actually terrified and she was pretty sure it was obvious as her bottom lip quivered

Viktor grabbed what he could to fix her up, and carried it over. "This may hurt some." He whispered feeling warm tears run down his face.

She nodded, using some of the last bit of strength she had to cut the side of his cheek using her thumb to wipe away his tears

He cleaned up her scars, and wrapped them up to his best extent. He tried not to think about her gentle touch on his face, but he didn't want not to. Gently leaning down, he kissed her forehead gently. "There, that's what I can do."

She nodded "thank you"she said sincerely slowly starting to remove her hand from the side of his face

He took her hand in his. "Can I carry you?" Viktor asked with a light frown.

She nodded, " yeah" she said after wincing in pain once more God I hurt her whole body was in absolute pain
