"You seem quiet for having such a smart mouth. This is gonna be difficult." He muttered the last part walking over to one of the walls and leaning on it.

Ravenna crossed her arms and raised her brow with a smirk " and what makes you think I have a smart mouth " she asked

"You literally spoke out against Satan." He said crossing his arms with a light chuckle. "You should be a little more careful."

" nah I like risks what's the point in dying I in your.like you didn't take the risk" Ravenna asked.

"You live longer. You may not have to watch your back as much." Viktor huffed pushing himself off the wall.

" i like doing what I'm not supposed to maybe you should try it some.time" she said with a smirk

"I'm good, I get enough abuse as is." He frowned picking up a bow staff.

She sighed " I'm sorry" she apologized for once.in her life she apologized " I Know what it's like…raised to be one.thing but.turning out different and getting punished for who you are" she said putting a hand on his cheek " don't change to please someone else" she said and slowly started to remove her hand.

He quickly took it, and held it on his face. He hadn't gotten this kind of gentle touch in forever. Looking into her eyes he breathed softly. "You really know how it feels? I thought you'd have it easier…" He trailed off lightly.

" everyday I was punished for not being this perfect angel that was expected of me I'm not my father and I don't you are ethier " she said flicking some hair away from his eyes as a few strange fell in her face.

He dropped his hand, from hers' and sighed. "It's rough living what we are." He mumbled pulling away from her and turning.

" they'll never except us and I've come.to terms with that " she.said.with a sigh . She put a.hanf on.his.shoulder " you just need.to find.some one you understands you" she said.

"Nobody understands me. You're the first." He pulled away again and walked over to a whip rack. "We should probably get started."

Her eyes widened in fear and she nearly fell

" Father please don't" Ravenna begged

" You learn to be like us" he said hitting her with a whip

There she was lying in a pool. Of her own blood.

"You OK?" He asked glancing over his shoulder to her. He bit his lip softly seeing her uneasy state.

" yeah I'm fine" she lied " just memories she said shaking her head

"You don't look fine. But I can't really make you tell the truth…" He sighed handing her the bow staff.

She nodded taking it, biting her lip. " My father he used weapons to punish me leave me in a.pool of my own blood.

Viktor winced at hearing that. He dropped the one he had picked up and turned to her. "That's awful." He said bleakly.

" yeah everyone's scars are there mine are just worse than others" she said with a sigh

"I'd be careful what you say. Some people just know how to hide theirs." He whispered picking up his own staff.

" as do I" she said " but I felt like I could trust you" she said " like we had a connection" she said " guess it was just me" she finished

"No, I never said we didn't." He paused to take in a breath. "I just said you should be careful."

(Gtg to bed, night.)

Ravenna looked at him with a raised brow " so you think we do" she asked

Viktor paused and sighed rubbing his face with a light grumble. "I'm not sure, but I know we have similarities." He decided to say looking up at her.

" True" she said suddenly a voice came over their heads " victor please bring the angel to my lair" the devil said

Viktor looked up at the roof and stiffened. 'This can't be good…' He thought to himself worriedly. He grabbed her elbow and pulled the bow staff from her hand. Setting it aside, he gently pulled her along, in a much kinder manner then the guards from earlier.

Ravenna sighed letting him pull her down the dark long narrow hall. She closed her eyes but quickly opened them again

"Watch your tongue." He whispered sharply to her glancing back at her. "Don't get yourself killed. I need a friend."

" I'll do my best" she said with a giggle and a playful wink as she continued walking
