“Yeah” she wrote back. She was shocked that she even got a response. There was a knocking on her door but she ignored it.

Lot tapped the pen on their hand trying to figure out what to respond. They weren't expecting this, "…should"

They crossed that out before sighing and writing it again, "shouldn't we do this in person?"

“Probably” she wrote. “Do you want to meet up?” She dropped her pen after that.

"sure," Lot responded without doing much thinking. They were thinking for a moment before the wrote down, "library?"

She quickly picked her pen back up. “Sure. Is now ok?” She asked already standing up. She paced us lightly waiting for a response.

"um yeah," Lotus responded grabbing their jacket and calling out, "I'm heading out."

"Don't die," Myrah responded back.

"I won't!" Lotus yelled at her sister.

Cat left without writing anything back. She convinced Sam to give her a ride without having to answer too many questions. He did insist in coming in to but he promised that he would be on the other side of the library getting his work done. They walked in and cat looked around for Lotus.

Lotus arrived a little bit later having to walk there. They entered and spotted Cat and walked up to her looking at the ground, "Um, hey."

“Hey,” cat said looking at her.
“And that’s my cue to leave. Text me when you want to go,” Sam said ruffling Cat’s hair before going deep into the library. Cat fixed her hair.

Lotus let out a sigh and rubbed their arm, "So should we sit down?"

Cat nodded. “Yeah we should,” she said walking and sitting at a table. “I um thanks for responding.”

"What was I supossed to do?" Lotus responded sitting down, "Not respond?"

Cat shrugged. “I don’t know I didn’t really expect you too or at least not the way you did,” she admitted.

"Well," Lotus rubbed their arm as they leaned back in the chair, "I- You seemed genuine and if you fully apologize than I was thinking maybe this could work."

“Well I’m really am sorry. I shouldn’t have gone behind your back I was just a little mad,” she said looking at Lotus.

"A little mad," Lotus said in almost disbelief. They bit back their retort barely after realizing it may damage what they were trying to rebuild, "Whatever, that's. I might need something a bit better than that."

“Fine I was really aggravated after Sunday so I acted like a bitch and I’m really sorry about that. I obviously shouldn’t have done that,” she said looking down at the table.

Lotus glanced up at Cat before looking back at the table, "Thank you. And I, I may forgive you for that."

Ava nodded. “Thanks,” She said not sure how else to respond.

Lotus rubbed the back of their neck thinking of what they could possibly say. An awkward silence fell upon the to and Lotus was growing uncomfortable with it.

“So um what did you mean by you think this could work?” She asked looking up from the table. Her hand was tapping the table slightly.

"I meant," Lotus took a breath as they put one hand on the table. Their eyes were still glued to the table though they glanced up slightly, "That maybe we could be in a relationship. A proper one that is. Probably friends at first then more maybe?"

Cat let out a breath. “Ok yeah I can do that,” she said. “If you want to of course.” She added.

"I," Lotus paused on her words, "I would like that."

(Oof i said Ava didnt I? I keep doing that even tho I barely rp with her anymore)
Cat smiled and nodded. “Ok then we can be friends. I guess we should start over,” she said. “Hi I’m Caterina but you can call me Cat.” She said putting her hand out to shake but then slowly putting it down realizing she probably doesn’t want to reveal her mark yet.

Lot kept their hands to themselves. It wasn't where the mark was shockingly enough, but they weren't going to risk it, "And I'm Lotus, but please call me Lot."

(Yeah you did. Lol)

Cat’s smile was more relaxed as she leaned on the table slightly. Her hand stopped tapping. “Well it’s nice to meet you,” she said.

"It's nice to meet you too," Lot echoed back a slight smile on their face. They had leaned back in the chair.

“So you have a sister?” she asked. Her smile turned into a slight smirk.

Lotus let out a long sigh as they shut their eyes, "Yes, what did My do this time?"
