"Let's go, Akira," the girl said, holding out her hand. Akira sighed, standing up. They hesitated a moment, then put their hand in the girl's. In a flash, Akira was gone, and the girl was putting her hands in her pockets.
"You're both going to see your agent's soon," she said simply. "If suggest coming up with an excuse." She walked to the door and paused.
"Like Akira said, I hope you find your Authors."

@ShadeStar

"What do you mean excuse?" Cicada asked standing up. She still had her hands on the staff and stepped towards the door towards the door.

"A way to explain why your here other than your Author bringing you here. Anything. If they think you came here because of your Author, you'll never be able to leave." The girl paused again, lips pursed. She obviously wasn't saying everything she knew.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Aron narrowed his eyes a little bit. "Why are you even saying this?" He demanded. "This doesn't make sense. Any of it. How do we know you aren't lying?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

The girl was silent a moment.
"Just because I work here doesn't mean I agree with how they treat characters." She looked directly at Aron.
"And you don't. And I can't change whether you believe me or not- I'm not your Authors, and I wouldn't ask them to." She sighed, turning around and stepping out of the room.
"You can call me Coral."

@ElderGod-Icefire

Aron shook his head, muscles in his arms clenching tight. He wanted to hit something. Wanted to hit someone. I've done this before. Lies and words and I don't know who to trust and I'm trapped and oh god it hurts– stop it. Snap out of it. You aren't there anymore. He told himself. But his mind was already starting to spiral out of his control, and he hated it.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Aron nodded. His breathing was too fast, his eyes too wide. He pressed the heels of his hands together, eyes flashing around the cell. –walls are closing in– he took a deep breath.

@ShadeStar

Cicada took a slight step towards him and spoke in a soft calming manner, "You're fine okay? Nothing is going to hurt you in here. I'm not going to hurt you. I don't think the people here are going to hurt you either."

Coral had already disappeared down the hall when Cicada spoke, leaving the two alone. Of course, it wasn't long before two soldiers appeared. They stepped into the room, heading towards Aron. These one on the right was Soldier E, the crueler one from the transport. The one on the left was different, but seemed to have the same mindset as E by the way he smirked at Aron.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Aron shook his head at Cicada a little bit, sucking in a breath –can't breathe can't breathe can't breathe oh god it hurts i can't breathe somebody please I can't breathe– he shook his head again, focusing on the soldier as best he could.

The two soldiers stepped forward, each taking one of Aron's arms.
"Let's go," E said, seeing how distressed Aron was. The other soldier turned to Cicada.
"You'll get called soon enough," he said with a smirk. Wherever Aron was being taken, it didn't sound good.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Aron took a deep breath, shoving his thoughts away and struggling against the soldiers grips. "Saefortha kalíen!" He snapped, not seeming to notice that he had reverted to his native tongue. "Kaz nie'ka!"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Soldier E cursed, and they dragged him out of the room, the bonds from before reappearing and keeping Aron from doing much.
"Count yourself lucky," the other soldier said, looking at Cicada one last time. With that, they started pulling Aron away.
Sometime after, a female soldier appeared, carrying a notebook and a pencil. She seemed to be writing something.

@ShadeStar

Cicada looked up to see the female with a notebook. Cada had gone back to sitting down and glanced up at her. She said nothing.

The soldiers ignored Aron's demands, pulling him along. They brought him to a room lined with six doors, each marked with a different letter; A, P, H, G, L, and U. They dragged Aron to the one labeled A, opening the door and roughly tossing him inside and slamming the door shut. A man sat inside, in a plain nondescript suit and dark glasses.
"Sit," he said, motioning to the chair on the other side of the table.

The woman paused in her writing, adjusting her glasses. She sighed, looking up and seeming to be surprised to be looking at Cicada.
"O-Oh. You are…" She flipped through her notebook, looking for something. "Cicada, right?"

@ShadeStar

Cicada gave a little nod to the woman. She figured that she must be high in rank if she had privy to the 'charries' name, "That I am. And you are?"

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

"Because I said so," the man said, any niceties dropped.
"The sooner you sit, the sooner you can leave. And the sooner I don't have to deal with a damn charie who thinks they have a say in anything."

@ShadeStar

Cicada stood up and kept her staff in both hands. She wanted to test something and hopefully wouldn't have to be dragged around this time. She gave a slight nod, "Of course."

@ElderGodSwimwithGamers group

Agent A nodded, turning slightly and standing to the side, ready to catch Cicada if she fell when she stepped out.
"Let's go then," she said with a kind smile. She seemed to be nicer than most of the other people there.

"You're a character, illegally in this world. The government doesn't like it when charies show up, so it's my job to process you, assign you a cell, and monitor you." He looked down at a sheet on the table, pulling out a pen.
"So let's get this started. Name?"
