Syzen sighed, turning to Noel and extending both of his hands.
”Same as usual” the Constellation warrior said as the Viscount figurine sighed with a small laugh, extending both of his hands as well. They stared at each other a bit before breathing in at the same time—
”Rock, Paper, Scissors, Shoot!”
Syzen showed ‘Paper’ while Noel showed ‘Rock’.
”Well damnit” Noel said in much disappointment.
”Open the door, I wanna get this over with” the Viscount figurine said.
“The past two years of my life have been crazy,” Cicada responded as she thought back. So much had happened and she had changed so much, “For starters I got forced on a journey with my one friend, a stranger who despised me, and another stranger who was friends with despise guy. But he was chill so that’s all good. We traveled across my kingdom basically racing this foreign prince to the resting place of our gods beating him most of the time thankfully. I ended up reconciling with my past. Fought in numerous battles including defending against a siege and attacking in a different siege. I was kidnapped, imprisoned, and tortured to a degree. So that came with a whole slew of shit. I ended up becoming a god and then went to fight another god. That enough for ya?”
"Okay then," S said, opening the door before turning to Syzen.
"I'm going to have to but your bonds back on," he said apologetically. "It's for the best with this Agent." He reached into his pack, pulling out the items in question.
Agent A scribbled down the new information, nodding occasionally.
"Yes, that should be enough. Sounds typical enough." The agent looked over the paper once nodding to herself.
"I think we're done here." She slipped the paper into a drawer.
"Now, to go over some rules."
”Alrighty, but Noel’s going in first anyways, though I’m not exactly sure if he’ll be able to handle whoever’s in there” Syzen said, extending both his hands to soldier S.
”Well Mr. Constellation, why don’t you shut that mouth of yours once in a damn while?” the Viscount said before approaching the door and heading inside without the order from soldier K or… anyone for that matter.
Cicada gave a nod and looked to the Agent. Her mind immediately went to how many she could break but then thought against that, “Of course.”
Soldier S chuckled a bit, putting the handcuffs back on Syzen's wrists.
"We'll see," he said.
Inside the room, a short woman in a plain black suit sat behind a table.
"Sit," she ordered, pulling out a page and pen.
"So, the first rule is that you do not leave your assigned room without permission and an escort. We've had too many attempted escapes. Next, violence is not tolerated. If you need to pick a fight, there will be plenty of soldiers who are willing to spare with you in the training room. If you behave well enough, you will be allowed to do to the city. If this happens, under no circumstances are you allowed to leave the city limits."
Cicada nodded along making mental notes of everything this lady was saying, "Got it. What city is nearby? We're in a dessert to my knowledge."
Noel followed the woman’s orders quite easily. He didn’t say anything just yet, he just sat there silently and keeping his demeanor passive. He was waiting for the woman to say or ask him something, that was probably why he was here.
"It's called Las Vegas. It's crazy enough people won't question your appearance, so tat's where we end up sending those who can blend in." Agent A paused for a moment. "The most important rule of all is this; you can not seek out your Author. If you do so, deadly force can and will be used to stop you." She sighed. "It's just my job. I personally don't hold anything against you."
"Full name," the woman, supposedly Agent U, said curtly. She didn't bother looking up at Noel, waiting for his response.
”Noel Y’bneth—“ the Viscount started, he sighed a bit before continuing ”—age 24, male, heterosexual” he acted as if he knew what the next questions were going to be.
Agent U moved down the list, pursing her lips tightly when he said his sexual orientation.
"Not according to this," she said, looking up to give him a cold stare, clearly ticked off.
Noel sighed before saying;
”Bisexual… fine” the man was clearly annoyed at the fact that the agent had to call him out on his lie. It was one fact he didn’t want to accept, that was all.
"Okay, but why can I not seek out my author?" Cicada asked curiously. She didn't understand why they wouldn't want them to if the consequences were the way they were.
The agent continued to scowl as she continued asking for information.
"Nationality?" she said tersely, eyes going back to the paper. The sooner this was over, the sooner she didn't have to deal with any more charies.
"You're presence in this world is not natural. To keep the disruption to a minimum, your magical abilities were sealed away. The only one who can break the seal is your author, and we can't allow that." Agent A sighed, tapping her pen to the table.
"I see," Cicada said with a slight muse. That explained why she couldn't summon her flames, "Anything else I should know?"
”When alive, half French, half British” Noel answered plainly. He was quite uncomfortable right now.
Syzen stood outside, tapping his foot.
”How long does the interrogation usually take?” he asked soldier S.
"Officially? No. But off the record-" Agent A paused before leaning foreward slightly.
"It'd be best for you to stay away from most of the other Agents and Soldiers. Not many are very kind."
The Agent skimmed through several sections of the paper, glancing up occasionally to verify his appearance.
"Power Set?" She said once she had gone through the sections before. She didn't really care about his personality.
"Ten minutes, depending on how well the character cooperates. It should be over soon."
The man wrote this down, making a note on another part of the page.
"Gender and pronouns," he said.
"Male, he/him." Aron replied slowly. He tipped his head to one side, then the other.
"Sexuality and Nationality," The man said, glancing up once.
"Pan, Kevran." Aron replied, linking his hands together and looking around the room calmly. He wanted this to be over.
The man wrote this down, then jotted a few notes down in spots marked Physical Appearance, Attire, and Other Identifying Marks before he looked up again.
"Powers?" He asked.
Aron frowned. "I…am not sure I can explain them." he replied after a moment. "Not in this language."
The man sighed, noting this down.
"Uncooperative piece of shit," he mumbled under his breath.
"Strengths?" He asked louder.
Aron narrowed his eyes at the insult. "Why should I tell you that?" he replied. He disliked the idea of these people knowing everything about him.
"So I can check and see if you're lying or not." The man held up the paper, revealing a neatly printed page of information on Aron. The man was just making notes on the sides. On the powers, he had written unwilling to divulge further information.
"Fine. I'm An excellent fighter, intelligent, and quick." Aron replied after a moment. His eyes flashed to the papers, and he shook his head a little bit.
"Officially? No. But off the record-" Agent A paused before leaning foreward slightly.
"It'd be best for you to stay away from most of the other Agents and Soldiers. Not many are very kind."
Cicada snorted a little as she grinned, "I've seen. I'm glad I got put with you though."
"Ah, so you can read. How charming." The man put the paper back down, sighing.
"Weaknesses? Fears?" The man smirked a bit. "How can I keep you in line."
Agent A smiled a little.
"Thank you. Not everyone here is bad, though. You'll be able to make a few allies if you're careful about it."
"I'm pretty sure two people already dislike me," Cicada let out a little laugh, "Then again they weren't very kind to begin with."
