Cat kept a smile on her face. She left Lotus alone for now but she made plans in her head.

Lot tapped their pencil against there desk. They wondered if My would try anything. They hoped not but knowing their sister something was bound to happen.

Cat focused on her notes. Sketching on the corner of her paper. She ended up glancing over at Lot a few times.

Lot swept some of their hair from their face as they continued to take notes. They never gave a glance to Cat.

Cat went to her next classes successfully not thinking about Lotus. That was until lunch when she scanned the room for her. She wasn’t even sure what she’d do if she saw her.

Lot was sitting at their table except today they weren't alone. A slightly taller girl with long blond hair and faded purple tips sat across from Lot. Myrah was looking around the lunch room for this 'Cat' while Lotus was trying to convince her to go back to her school. Not happening.

When Cat saw that Lotus wasn’t alone she quickly looked away. She stood in the lunch line trying to figure out what she should do.

"Which one is she?" Myrah asked. She was still covered in paint smudges on her paint clothes which was just a plain shirt and skinny jeans and her ocean blue eyes were still scanning.

Lotus bit into her sandwich and sighed, "I'm not telling you My."

"I'll ask around then," Myrah responded with a shrug.

"Please don't."

Cat got her food and sat at the same table she did yesterday. She glanced at Lotus but then quickly looked down at her food. She moved the pasta around with her fork instead of eating it.

Myrah spotted Cat looking at Lotus. She stood up, "Found her."

Lotus grabbed My's arm before the other girl could move, "I know I can't change your mind, but please don't physically hurt her."

Myrah let out a laugh as she slipped out of Lot's grip and flashed them a smile, "No promises."

"God damn it My!" Lot shouted as the other one giggled and walked over to Cat.

Myrah sat down across from Cat rested her head in her in the folds of her knuckles, "Soooo, you're my sibs soulmate."

Cat froze slightly but then looked up. Her face clear of emotions. “Depends who’s Your ‘sibs’?” She asked looking the girl over.

"Oh you know," Myrah drawled on her words a little, "One green eye, one brown. Tends to randomly get drawings of stars on their arms. You ended up being a little backstabbing bitch and went along with a plan that ended up with them having a full-on fucking panic attack and sensory overload before the day could even begin."

Fuck I did? She thought. She bit the inside of her cheek but kept the rest of her face stone. “I have no clue what you’re talking about,” she said rolling her eyes.

Myrah looked at Cat studying the tiny details as she had been accustomed to figuring how Lot was feeling a simple action. Such as a twitch of the finger, a few too many blinks, but she could see nothing wrong. Rah's anger welled up, "You know exactly what I'm fucking talking about. The thing with the project yesterday? You fucking tore my sib down after finally being willing to build a relationship, of any kind, for the first time in 7 years that they wanted to do all by themselves. 7 fucking years."

Cat shifted slightly in her seat but put on a small smile. “Oh so you’re Lotus’ sister. According to her we’re not soulmates and she didn’t seem very willing to build a relationship. She just wanted to ignore so guess what? I don’t give a shit.” She was looking Myrah in the eyes.

"That doesn't give you the right to stand back when someone is clearly being targeted," Myrah wanted to snarl, but kept it back only growling slightly, "And you have no idea the shit they've been through. After they got back from the library on Sunday, they finally opened up and realized maybe they did want a soulmate. Then you went and fucking ruined it the next morning."

Cat stayed silent for a second. Her smile faltering. “Oh well. Like I said don’t give a Shit. If you want me to leave her alone too late because I already have. Don’t worry I’ll probably be out of here in like a week so Your big sister won’t ever have to see me again.” she said glaring at Myrah. She wanted to stay out of trouble and graduate from this school but now there was no way she was staying here. She stood up to throw away the food she didn’t get to eat.

"That doesn't change the fact that you did what you did," Myrah stood up from the table and checked her phone ad glared at it before looking back at Cat, "Trust me, Lot wants nothing to do with you at the moment. I just want you to know if you fuck up one more time you may not be leaving this town in one piece."

Cat laughed slightly and put her hands up in a mock surrender. “Oh I’m so scared,” she said rolling her eyes and turning around. She took out her phone and started texting someone.

"You really should be. Oh and before you call your posse and Lotus. I did this on my own so don't fucking drag them into it," Myrah said before walking away and out of the school. Her free period was almost up and she needed to get back to her school.

Lot had finished and had been watching the interaction. Once My walked away they stood up and went to the computer lab, why did Myrah do what she did? Lot never would know."

Cat went to the library texting someone. She could just skip all of her classes until they finally kick her out but that might mean she doesn’t graduate at all.

Lot had sat in one of the free chairs and was working on their own laptop since it was easier than one of the computers. They let out a frustrated sigh and ran a hand through their hair.

Cat decided to sketch. At first she tried to avoid getting marks on her hands but then she decided screw it. She wasn’t changing anything for her. She ended up getting dozens of marks mainly on her thumb and the side of her hands.

Lot could feel the smudges and didn't bother with them. They had been used to it in years before they can get used to it in years to come. The bell rang and lot stood up heading to their next class.

Cat stayed in the library again. The librarian seemed to notice at one point but no one bothered her. After school she stayed there for a while longer. She recognized her foster brother who walked into the library and sat on the floor next to her.
“Dan texted me saying you skipped your classes,” he said. She shrugged and didn’t say anything. Her eyes where watery.
“I’m leaving.” She said. Sam shook his head.

Lotus left school and saw Myrah back in her usual off the shoulder pink top tucked into a slightly before the knee-length dark violet skirt. She was on her phone and looked up at Lotus, "Hey."

Lot sighed and walked up to their younger sister who always enjoyed to look more mature than she acted. Little anime-loving paint child, "What? Here to pick me up mom?"

Myrah had a grin on, "Maybe.~"

"Just take me to the death trap," Lotus waved their hand and began to walk towards the parking lot.

Cat a little while later with Sam. He gave her a ride home. She sketched the whole time and refused to tell Sam what was wrong. Once she was at the house she went to her room and kept sketching. “I’m sorry.” She wrote on her hand again this time bigger and she didn’t cross it out.

Lotus got home and looked down when they felt a tingle on their hand. They looked at their hand to see the sorry and looked to Myrah, "What did you do?"

"Nothing," Myrah shrugged a little smile on her face. So Cat decided fixing things may be the best answer, good.

"I don't trust you," Lot responded as they started to reach for a pen. They let out a deep breath before writing back, "are you really?"
